trevors685
Right now, I'm in a position where I can get the PS3 bundle or just take the cheap way out, and just spend the 60 for my current Xbox. If possible, could you list the pros and cons for each? I want to only purchase it once, so I want the best that my money can get. If this topic has already been covered, you can just post a link to the thread, and I'll ask for this thread to be locked. As I'm on my sh*tty phone, I probably won't be replying too much, so thanks in advance. PS: I'm not really trying to instigate a console war, but please, in a civilized manner, list the pros and cons of each platform. Feel free to use Max Payne and RDR as examples as I have beat them both.

NYC PATROL
Either console version will be fine. They will look 99.99% identical. Xbox has the option of putting all 15 GB onto your console while PS3 only allows you to do the one 8 GB install with no option to put the other 7 GB or so on the HDD. Get whatever version most of your XBL or PSN friends are getting. Edited August 8, 2013 by NYC PATROL
cholesterol
Why purchase a PS3 now, when the PS4 is literally months away? Just buy the 360 version and save for a next-gen system. Anyway, they're identical either way man. Its the same game just the machine changes.

Between consoles they are both the same. OP as others have said go with the 360 version and save your cash for other things. Pointless buying a PS3 just for GTA V that you can get and will look the same on the 360. Done.

I don't know about that, all it means is that the 360 won't have to read the disc to play, so it doesn't make any noise, and reading from the HDD is faster than reading from the disc, so there's faster loading times. No idea about pop-ups and the like. I doubt it. That's a hardware issue
