This game will be a big flop and I cant wait to come back here in a month and see all of you disappointed.. What gameplay footage have they showed other than cinematics?? Exactly. None. the games already finished and about to be released yet they cant show 10 seconds of gameplay??? Exactly. theres a reason for that, dont you think? GTA has NEVER been a flop, they have shown gameplay, they're not gonna sit there and show tons of it before it's release, that's not how Rockstar works, keep shaking your head while the world enjoys it and is the best game of the year. BF4 game of the year easy. Have you watched? They are showing full on multiplayer and its still in the works. TBH, GTA V destroys Battlefield on almost every level. Don't get me wrong, been playing Battlefield since BC2, bought every game and some preceding ones as well, huge fan. But V is pure brilliance. The only one I give a chance is MGS V. If the story of MGS is as mindblowing as I think it'll be, then it's gonna be a tough challenge for both of them to get GOTY. Ahh.. Metal Gear would take it. Its not coming out this year though, is it? @chriselswick I have a sudden urge to punch you for some reason... lol Fanboys get that urge at times. I hope Im wrong. I have that cash held back for the game. Im just not payin til they actually show something What do you mean in the Gameplay trailer they showed more than enough. Both MGS and GTA showed great improvements and things that have never been done before (I hear MGS' story is going to be full of controversialities), I give them an equal chance of getting it. Its still in dev but they have showed HOURS of online stream of actual footage and gave alot of details. GTA needs to get on this. Also (drive a car, plane, boat, bike, helicopter, ect.) and do every thing you can in Battlefield, and CoD. Just curious. The sheer amount of info released about it is enough to get people to buy it. There have been what, 2 rounds of previews, 200 screenshots, 7 trailers and now a lot of leaked info. Regarding IV, some people just weren't paying attention (like when R* stated that the game will only be centered around a city, then some people had the nerve to complain about this because they didn't bother to look it up), or they just didn't understand that R* had to build a game engine and a game running on top of it, all in a 4 year time frame meaning that many things would eventually be cut. Golf and such. I dont see that being very detailed and exciting. I just wanna see a few minutes of footage. I wanna see the scale of such things. Battlefield will NEVER achieve GOTY as long as EA is their publisher, mark my words. Dice is definately one of the better devs, but with EA near them they'll never flourish. BF4 is BF3.5, the only new thing that's interesting is levolution, which is just a scripted sequence. BF4 is awesome, but no GOTY material. Last of Us, MGS V and GTA V crush BF4 on all awards (normally BF would get a bunch for multiplayer but obviously GTAO nails them into the ground). Going back to the "It requires cooperation" thing, you can do all that bitch ass camping in BF4 the stuff people do is no different between the two games. Odinox Posted August 26, 2013 Share Posted August 26, 2013 for the game costing 250,000,000$ (from what ive heard) I dont think it will disappoint. and for how long its been in development. and i also heard theyre planning to profit another 250kk. --------------------------------------------------------------------- heres my input on IV. IV didnt have as much as San andreas. because the graphics and physics were alot more advanced and the map was alot larger. just walking down the street. the buildings has much more detail. sidewalks have garbage bags and more debris. you play SA on a standard pc, no problem. try IV on a standard. haha no. I did miss doing fun sh*t. but i liked the physics even better. hit someone in SA and they become an instant pizza. do the same in IV they fold and flop.
