Of course it had it's weaknesses, but every great game has. The problem is that a lot of people introduced to the GTA series with SA. When GTA IV came out they didn't actually expect a GTA IV, but rather a GTA:SA 2. The same people that expected SA in the 1940s with LA Noire, so on and so forth. I'm worried that the story will be disappointing or too short. Yeah the story looks like sh*t honestly, how the f*ck do you do an ending with 3 playable crazy money hungry characters? If you kill one of them you will destroy the new 3 character element. You can't kill one of the other 2, it was already confirmed in an interview, and if one dies it will just spawn at a hospital, if you mean at the end, I'm sure they're all gonna make it at the end. I think the storyline is great so far and there's so much that we don't even know about yet, Rockstar is smart, they know what they're doing, the story is gonna work out great, and it's perfect to have 3 protagonists, the google-style map thing is one of the best features ever. You should realise that IV was awesome in it's time and when VI is about to release you'll hate on the masterpiece that is GTA V. I don't think that's entirely fair when it can work both ways. Personally I still love the GTA III era, but GTA IV simply has more I like about it. Better side missions. A much more detailed environment. Better mini games. Better characters. Better combat. ryantoma Posted August 26, 2013 Share Posted August 26, 2013 At times, the character movement felt like one of the worst I've ever played, but I still played it from release up until now, and that's because multiplayer was fun. They have sorted the characters, new missions, driving isn't now just in a city so curbs etc wont always catch u out. There is no videos of actual gameplay other than camera's jumping around back and forth between things to make it more exciting. Well the last two gameplay videos show actual gameplay from third person. The camera angle does not matter, there's a clear difference between cinematic camera and cutscenes. With a cinematic camera they can capture true gameplay from a different position, a cutscene usually has tweaked elements and can look better than the real gameplay. New to GTA? Nope. Played them all unlike most ppl here. If any of you played GTA 4 you'd be more careful and not be putting this on a pedestal as you have been.. Or maybe Im the only one who thought that game was a bit over hyped ... That game kinda sucked and was very boring. They made a steal off of that crap. Im careful with my money after that "game" lol. Especially them. 2. New comers, who decided to buy this game because of "this game looks cool. I think I'll buy it." 3. People with expectation equal to a virgin before his first sex. 4. People who love to complain. 5. People who aren't really interested in the genre, but decided to buy it because it's mainstream. 6. People who loves Saints Row to death, and are highly immature. Well, look at GTA V gameplay trailer and the online gameplay trailer, it's all there and should be very easy to figure out which is which, there's new shooting and cover mechanics, loads of customizations etc etc, too much to dumb it down here, and a little google search you'll learn a lot more, everything is a lot more improved from GTA IV. Ive seen things ppl uploaded that were leaked and put on facebook. None of it shows anything any different other than clearer graphics. I wish there were just 1-2 minutes showing actual gameplay of someone running around doin sh*t.. But theres not any lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
