Talib Posted August 8, 2013 Share Posted August 8, 2013 So recently one of my favorite Hip Hop artists released a song yesterday about Christopher Dorner called "Christopher DRONEr" I been knew about the conspiracies and information about this but I decided to go more in depth, reading his manifesto and all that. Anyways it made me think about the actual corrupt cops in LA Then I went on the forums and then though, "what if we see corrupt cops in GTAV?" If you don't understand why I say a few things please do research before saying stupid things. Anyways, I thought what if we see corrupt cops in Los Santos? Kinda like in San Andreas (Was based on real life corrupt cops during Rodney King Riots) Its not something you don't see in LA and if R* was trying to get a feel for LA, would you think they would go as far as to put corrupt cops or officials in? I mean everyone knows that the LAPD has a reputation of corruption and it hasn't changed much today. It would be nice to run across a scenario (during missions or random encounters) like this. A few acted like professionals though, like the Asian cop and the Black cop that's actually fit. Anyway, corruption in Law Inforcement is one of the themes that GTA tries to get accross in it's last few installments, from C.R.A.S.H using CJ to hide their own misdeeds, to the U.L. Paper guy blackmailing Niko into doing Black Ops work, from the Bryan Forbes in VCS, the undercover cop that actually is a criminal more than a cop. Personally, I belive that Michael's FIB handlers are corrupt and are going to force our trifecto into doing some unofficial wetwork that they can't be seen doing themselves, targeting their rivals the IAA. You could bribe them to look the other way if you were going to commit a quick crime. It was pretty useful, especially if you were going to Whack an enemy mobster. That's one feature I enjoyed. And you could actually bribe politicians and police chiefs for an even larger benefit, such as having them call off a pursuit. And as far as their involvement in the storyline, there have always been corrupt officials in GTA. The F.I.B agents in GTA V are probably corrupt themselves. And also Cops are everyday people but that doesn't mean that there are some that are greedy and corrupt. Read the Manifesto. He mentions much corruption, cop brutality, and the fact that a some corrupt cops look at a homicide and dead family as more money in there pocket. There's a crooked cop that keeps harrassing the Corleones that you eventually throw off a building and make it look like an accident as he was drunk when it happened. Try researching stories about a cop who done wrong and if you don't know your rights, bang, that's you in the slammer for the flimsiest of reasons. Is every cop corrupt?
