If I show them the receipt can I still get it ? Keep it and take it with you when you go to get the game. That is, unless you're having it delivered to your house. I have to pick mine up plus its only a £5 pre order so I have to pay some too. Side question: does anyone know about these £5 pre orders? Have I paid to pre order it or is this actually part of the price for the game? (So I only have to pay £35, assuming its cost £40)
Red XIII
How much dope have you been smoking and how many conspiracy theories have you been reading to think that gamestops computers are going to crash. You must be really paranoid, sun.
Tobias_Rieper
The gamestop near my house has computer crashes like 4 times a month. I was there a few weeks ago and their signing pad froze up and reset. The guy that happened to be working that day had said that he'd only started a week or two before, and he's already had about 3 crashes. As for your receipt, try a small box of some kind or a small bag like a sandwich bag. An envelope works well too.
Carlover325
so what do they recognize your face or something? No, they have the names of all the people that pre-ordered at that location. All I have ever had to do was provide my ID to prove who I am. I keep my receipt in my file cabinet just in case, though. I bring it with me on release day. Grand Theft Savage
I don't about your GameStop, but they ask if I pre-ordered a game before I buy it. All I have to do is say "yes" and I'll get the pre-order bonus (Atomic Blimp). They don't check anything.

So like in the US, the game would be $60, you only have to pay $55 if you put $5 on it. *I think?

Hodgey.
Why are so many people panacking about their pre order? Keep the receipt incase there computers do fail, if so show them the receipt and recieve the game. Job done.
