Is it me or is it that the first artworks of GTA V look a lot different than the ones recently released? The first ones looks a lot more San andrea'ish with bold outlining and sharper looking. BUT THE BENZ Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 that hotel mural will be taken down some time after release I guess. after all it's a blanket they're painting on or something. and it does cover the windows of the hotel doesn't it? so I think that's temporarly only. the other ones that were painted directly on walls will stay forever I hope. Trevor's looks sooo awesome. When the time is up the people who own the building will do one of several things.First they will lease it out to another company who will paint another advertisement over it, they will paint over it themselves, or they will simply pressure wash it off. Looking at the one where the box-art was it looks like they chose to just pressure wash it off because if you look closely you can see bits and pieces of the GTA V box-art. I guess that's because in those images Franklin is facing to the right and Michael slightly facing to the left so it fits to put them on the left and right respectively, but in the artwork from Trevor's character trailer his body is also facing to the right. They needed an image of Trevor that was facing straight on to put in the central panel without ruining the overall composition of the mural. Still bothers me because for OCD reasons, although having Trevor leaning leftish in the middle would have probably bothered me even more for that reason. On one hand, they used only 2/3 pictures of the same set. On the other hand, I like the whole facing right/facing straight/facing left composition they've got going on.
