Getzmunney
.I dont care what no one says, the way they are marketing this game f*cking sucks...its a month and 10 days left until the game releases and they dont even have an interactive site..I expect the smart asses to come here and say sh*t like "we have enough info", yea thats true but they went about this sh*t all wrong. This has to be one of the effects of their lead of marketing resigning last year
haarp
I wanted mass hype by now, I thought we'd be drowning in new info. But nothing. FU Rockstar.

Famous-CLS
The day isn't over yet, let's hope for something. Rockstar has to step up they're game through if this is in fact they're greatest game to date.
gwaha
Why is an interactive site needed for marketing? Interactive maps are pretty much only useful for hardcore fans, the gamers who have already pre-ordered the game.

Finn 7 five 11
I am glad they aren't releasing much. It spoils everything otherwise. I don't want it to feel like i've played the game when it releases.

bfett21
The fact that you are bitching about not seeing any marketing means it is working. There is already plenty of Word-of-Mouth going on. It's like drugs, it sells itself.

SwitchBladeJones
"we have enough info", yea thats true I feel like they have been consistent with previous games. Except, they gave a gameplay trailer this time around and revealed a third of the map months ago. If they don't build up there website it is because their marketing is consistent with a lot of data coming out recently, you don't need it to excel at reaching an audience. People on mobile devices use social media, not flash sites. They'll still beat all sales records.
dorcy
y'know i can't remember the last time i saw an advertisment for milk. probably becuase people who want it will buy and don't need to be reminded that it is available for purchase. while those who don't like milk won't be swayed in their opinion. Grand Theft Savage
It's like half of you people have sticks up your asses He dislikes the marketing approach. Let him dislike it. No need to be fa**ots about it. OnTopic: I expect that to come soon, though. The fact that the Interactive Site and the GTA Online reveal haven't been released yet show R* is planning something big. We might get both within a very short period of time from the other.
ZuParadox
They don't need to go overboard with the marketing though.... The fact is, we are constantly wanting something that when it does finally hit - we go mental and then the word spreads even more

Shamrock910
So you are mad that there isn't an interactive website? Why? What would it change? You know when the game is coming out. You have seen all the info. You've seen the videos. Everything is posted on Rockstars website, and well as Grand Theft Auto website, and the newswire. I've said it before and I'll say it again. People just looooove to complain.
Above
I'm also suprised by the fact that we don't have an interactive website now. I don't really care though, it's Rockstar's business and I'm sure they will sell millions of copies regardless of what they do at this point. gwaha
But you see milk and other foods are a need, they sell themselves. GTA V is a want it does need advertising And it already got advertised. There is no need for a silly interactive map when it is pretty much only meant for hardcore fans.
Booya818
To be honest I would have been happy with the first 2 trailers and a few screens. I prefer R* being quiet. Makes the first time playing more exciting because there is so much to discover.

Don't tell me that only hardcore fans would like to see the map. It's everyone's playground for the next 5-6 years or so.
