The rumour stated that the PS4 would reserve 3.5GB of its RAM for the console's operating system, leaving just 4.5GB for developers to make use of for their games It's not a rumor any more , it's a fact No it's not. As someone who's been seeing the trend of PC ports for the past 5 years, this is all you'll get. And that's IF Rockstar is feeling generous and modifies the code so that the game can take advantage of the increase RAM pool, to get rid of the annoying car spawn issue. Which is highly unlikely because oh yeah, they never bothered to do it for the PC even though my computer has 16,000MB of ram vs the consoles 256MB/512MB. Nice.
