I Love Anna Kournikova
Yea, Even when it is in season though, most people here are more into the NFL. So even then, its not as active as I would like it. But when its the offseason, its hard to find news. Unless its about players in the SEC getting arrested. I Love Anna Kournikova
tOSU has been known in the past few year to take one team lightly and get a scare. I'm Hoping Cal can find a decent defense this year becasue their Offense will be one of the best in the nation. Jared Goff is an unreal QB. Jonesizzle
Ohio State have very good football players and one of the best college coaches ever. If I had to place money, it would be on the Buckeyes. They basically have 3 All-American/Heisman worthy QBs on the team(all proving they can win and score)with one playing a hybrid role, while the other two duke it out for the starter... Knowing Meyer, he will play all 3 at QB every game. Edited August 12, 2015 by DOOM! Larcen
tOSU has been known in the past few year to take one team lightly and get a scare. I'm Hoping Cal can find a decent defense this year becasue their Offense will be one of the best in the nation. Jared Goff is an unreal QB. Well, it couldn't get any worse, right? It's a little troubling that they lost their project starting center, and that they're not very deep on the OL, but it's still going to be fireworks. Goff is going to be a college-football household-name by November. Realistically? Even though this is the first time that the Pac-12 North is "up for grabs," Cal's still not ready for prime time. It's a brutal schedule that they've got. Especially a tough slate after the mid-October bye (@UCLA/USC/@ORE). Having said that, if they can beat Texas, I'm liking their odds at getting back to a bowl. It's been quite a while since I've been posting. But I'm very excited about the 2015 campaign. Cal is going to be a landmine for at least a few playoff-hopeful squads, which is bittersweet. I'm pretty sure that the Pac-12 won't have a rep in the dance this year, mainly because I'll be shocked if the conference champion runs the table. Dat conference cannibalization, doe. Things are actually looking promising for the future too. Dykes and Co. have been on the warpath, recruiting-wise. Cal's already netted, like, 25 letters of intent. Not a lot of "blue-chippers," if you believe in the Rivals/247/Yahoo/ESPN/Etc. rankings, but that's all conjecture anyways. Berkeley is becoming known as a program that will showcase talent on the offensive side of the ball, and will get plenty of opportunities for national exposure. It's becoming a pretty alluring destination for offensive skills players. NOW IF WE JUST CAN JUST F*UCKING SCHOLLY A CORNERBACK/SAFETY OR TWO. Haha. I Love Anna Kournikova
Yea offense is not a problem at all. Only thing I am worried about is after Goff Leaves who will be at QB. Larcen
I'd be shocked if they didn't go wire-to-wire into the playoff field. It's an astoundingly easy path for Ohio State; Penn State & MSU in Columbus, and they don't have Whisky in the regular season. Jonesizzle
Not to be biased, but when OU isn't expected to do nothing, that's when they do something. That's most likely the reason why Kirk Herbstreit went out on the limb and picked the Sooners to make the playoff this year. I'm excited to see Baker Mayfield be our QB, the kid was a beast as a walk-on true freshman at Texas Tech. Feurian42
I don't see Ohio State having that easy of a road to repeat. They are hurting at the WR position for the first game, in Blacksburg which could easily become an option fest/ B.Miller screen fest. Those never work out great for OSU. I don't care what anyone else says, a big reason all the QB's succeeded was Darin Smith and he is gone. Not to mention Harbaugh at...that state up there. The biggest reason, and it has already been mentioned, OSU was not expected to do anything last year. Now they have that target on their backs that wasn't there last year. Mich St. has never shied away from big games at The Shoe and are going to be better this year, so is Penn St. In fact, Penn St. could be OSU's one loss this season. In all, repeating a championship is the hardest thing in sports. Saying they should have an easy road because you don't think their competition is up to the task might be accurate, but I think the Big 10 is better this year than last and the target on OSU grows every day. There are traps all over the place. Mich St. remembering what was done to them last year. Penn St. wanting redemption for that close loss at home. Oh, and they get to beat the defending national champs to boot. Larcen
but I think the Big 10 is better this year than last Sure, but it's still terrible. And OSU is bringing back a ton of talent at the skill positions. Penn State is trash and Hackenburg is one of the most overhyped players in recent history. Aside from a brilliant bowl showing against a pretty decent BC squad, Hackerburg hasn't done sh*t. And in the Big 10, that's especially alarming. Michigan State, however, might give them a challenge, but the Buckeyes' kind schedule gets them at the 'shoe. OSU is going to romp in the regular season. Edit: lol michigan right now. 17-3, middle of the 3rd @ utah.
