I always check my ex girlfriend's social media things (her twitter, instagram, all that sh*t). I just can't help it, I wanna stop but I can't, it's just too easy to click and see, and I admit I struggle with self control. I guess it's just a part of me that want's to check and see if she still gives a sh*t about me, but deep down I know I probably never even cross her mind anymore. I just keep looking for signs, I need to stop. I keep telling myself "this is the last time i'll check it", but I see it as being similar to an alcoholic and his booze, no matter how much he may know he needs to quit drinking, he can't simply just quit, it's way more complicated than that. Also it's my horrible OCD. Anyone with serious OCD knows how it just nags and nags at you loudly until you give in. I mean, I literally feel that if I don't check her account something terrible will happen to me. If I try to fight against my OCD I get horrible anxiety and eventually just end up giving in. It basically feels like something is controlling me against my will.

 

So basically this confession just went from ex girlfriend stuff, to me telling about my crazy OCD. I've struggled with it since I was a kid. If you don't have OCD, well, consider yourself lucky. Alot of times I have to do things twice, or an even amount of times or i'll feel a sense of doom come over me. It's a nightmare at times.
