I Have a Confession to Make

I've been listening to a lot of Samurai Spirit Skinhead bands--like Sledge Hammer, Strong Style, Bull the Buffalos, Miburo, etc.--which is like the Japanese equivalent of RAC. I can't understand a word of Japanese, but I know they're singing about Imperial Japan and like, kamikazes and sh*t, so I still feel kinda guilty about it.

I REALLY hate waiting in line. Everytime I'm in the middle of the line, I feel like I want to barge in and get into the first in line.

I've come so close to flat out shoving people out of the way in crowded walkways. There is no courtesy whatsoever, people are all over the place. They either walk slow, ride on your heels, walk diagonally and eventually bump into you, walk on the wrong side and cause confusion and/or bump into you, etc. Depending on what mood I'm in I don't change my path at all and if someone's in it, oh well.

Ah, long story short I was very displeased with the whole thing.

But anyways, I confess that I never hated school. Not the work, the schedule, not anything. The only thing I didn't like were some of the people, but that's it. I also like waking up early. It's Sunday and I woke up at 7 AM. Sleeping in is not really my thing.

I confess to not liking Freddie Mercury's vocals from about 1984 - 1989. I mean, I still enjoy his songwriting and overall performances, but his voice got deeper, more strained, and he even employed less falsetto (which he did so wonderfully). I'm convinced that his smoking habit was to blame. The sad thing is he insisted that he smoked because he wanted a raspier voice. What a stupid statement.

I confess that I used to steal money from my parents back when I was little or during my childhood days. The thrill of getting caught doing it at that time was immense. Eventually, I got caught. My father explained it to me why I shouldn't it and what are the consequences if I steal something from a stranger. From that moment onwards, I refrained myself from doing that kind of stuff. And gradually never gave a thought about it.

I am laying my carpet within the next month, am I going to move my wardrobe to lay the carpet underneath??? NO. I'm going to just lay the carpet around it.

I'm painting my walls and there is a shelf, will I take the shelf off and paint under it? NO. I will paint around the shelf.

I'm one of those text walkers when it comes to walking in crowds. Except I'm rarely texting, I'm reading. No I don't walk slow, yes I look where I'm going and no I don't bump into people. I honestly don't understand why people use the crosswalk while texting or drive while texting or text on busy city sidewalks though. That's incredibly stupid to me. But yes I do use my phone while walking. I'm definitely trying to reduce it though because I don't really like being associated with phone zombies. There's phone zombies and then there's people who talk about phones/technology like they're the plague, honestly both annoying imo.

Remember, patience is a virtue. If you take your time and have some patience, you can achieve anything you desire in your life. Don't take it for granted, though.

 

OT: Another thing I'd like to confess; I get kinda nervous whenever a mod visits my profile or views my profile for quite some time. Like Girish did around 3 hours ago.

 

 

Why am I panicking? Don't answer it. I'm talking to myself. Yeah, I do it a lot of times. It's one of my bad habits. I'd like to confess that as well.
