I just found out that the UB40 song "Red Red Wine" is actually a cover of a Neil Diamond song. It's one of those instances were the cover was a bigger hit than the original.

I confess that I hope Greece crashes and gives the euro and the arrogant eurocrats a black eye and a bloody nose.

Probably would be good if we jumped ship before then, but Cameron will still have us holding out for that referendum until about 2040.

Finally gave up smoking cigarettes been clean for six days so far. I don't even worry about smoking anymore. I feel guilty now for wasting so much money on my own selfish habit, but now I don't have to worry about it, also don't have to worry about the smell that is attached with smoking and the whole social stigma like, you aren't socially acceptable if you smoke around people who don't smoke and I don't have to worry about having enough money for smokes. I was always just scraping by to buy cigarettes. Now I should be saving money instead. No more stinky car or clothes and oh my, my sense of smell has returned and foods taste unbelievable. I don't think of this phase as 'withdrawal syndrome' - that's so negative. I think of this phase as 'healing myself from the effects of nicotine' oh and yeah I have gone cold turkey. No patches or gum or anything. Just pure brain strength. To anyone else out there thinking of quitting, remember the mantra "I'm healing myself from the effects of nicotine and other poisons. Cigarettes are poisonous." This has helped me a lot to quit. It's not worth buying poison sticks and killing yourself. Everything just smells and tastes so much better when you quit and you can breathe easier. You'll actually feel like your lungs are getting better each day. So try not smoking for 24 hours and if you can get past that, try it again.

What?

Are you whatting me or what?

Know that feel. Ruptured both ear drums once.

Lol. I burst one of my ear drums before. Hurts like hell!! I had tinitus and poor hearing for nearly two years D: some weird sounds indeed.

It was certainly a scary experience before I could gather myself and understand what the hell was going on!

hahahahahah ikr.

When I'm sleeping, I always dream about Taylor Swift doing things with me, in a nice and friendly way. We hang out and go to the best places, just having fun.

I also laughed when England lost to Japan in the women's world cup because of THAT own goal, despite me being English and supporting the Americans. I feel like a bad person, but I saw it coming and I had no choice but to react like that.

That's how you know when someone's been watching too much porn; they think women actually like a dude busting a nut on their face.

I do think busting nuts on anyone's face is horrid. I was trying to add humor in my post, which failed terribly.

To be fair, some folks are into that. Tho I'd reckon most are not.

I once spitted on a random dude's shoe when I was 5-6. I went with my mom to buy some bread, but while my mother went to buy the bread, I was in the car, with the car's glasses open. It was around 9-10pm, and a dude got past by me and I spitted on his shoe :D He started to yell me sh*t like: "YOU f*ckING BRAT! DOESN'T YOUR MOTHER TEACH YOU MANNERS! NOW ILL HAVE TO WASH MY SHOE BECAUSE OF YOU! f*ck YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!". Then he got in the car parked on the front of mine and he drive away like a maniac. Seconds later my mom left the store and got in the car, and ghe exact same moment, I cried saying a bad man yelled at me for no reason :p hahahh

You are the reason why I hate children. I probably would have yelled at you too...furiously. :p

Two days ago I was in NYC taking the subway and there were these 3 unsupervised 9 - 12 year old brats. They were running around the subway train bashing into each other and being extremely loud and obnoxious, knowing they were getting on everyone else's nerves on the train. They were using profanity and when the train doors opened one of the girls stood directly in front of the exit and was playing a game of, "Should I go or should I stay." You know, one step in, one step out, like she has all the time in the world (and if you know anything about taking the subway the doors are only open for several seconds). Meanwhile, I'm behind her and, trying to hold my temper, I simply said "Jesus f*cking Christ" and somehow got around her.

What is it with kids these days? I realize many of the members of this forum are kids too, and I don't mean to offend you, but when I was a kid there was a little thing called respect. Man, I feel old now. :(

No, times have indeed changed. I agree there's always been brats, but, in my experience, it's gotten worse over time.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not even 20 yet, but seeing how kids act these days I feel old.

It's funny to note that yesterday "good" kids are the parents of today's brats.

Keep in mind that many years ago a parent was able to stay at home with their child while the other parent went out to support the family. Along the way (long story short) it became normal for both parents to go out and support the family while the child was left home alone. If the child is lucky, the parents are able to (or smart enough to) get their child supervision, whether it be a stay-at-home nanny, a trip to daycare, or if they're really lucky, another adult family member. But unfortunately, that's not always the case. And then there's the media. It all began in the 1950s with Elvis Presley (etc.), and it carried on throughout the next several decades: for example, violence and profanity became more acceptable on television. Plus there's the issue of online social media in which children are fully capable of gaining access (despite age restrictions) and conversing with just about anybody in the world. Kids are becoming exposed to things that they wouldn't normally have been exposed to years and years ago. Look, there are many different contributing factors. Point is, the times have changed and with it our children are changing too, and in my view, it isn't always for the best.

Fair enough, I tell u if it was me being spitted bh the kid me, I would f*cking throw myself outta that car and scare the sh*t out of myself, as a kid. In less words, I regret doing that, but I wasnt a disrespectful kid anyways, I just felt like I wanted to be rebel once xD
