Hugo37 28
Yes, that's a PC screenshot. I don't know what's different, my installation is a v1 (downgraded from Steam) running Silent Patch. Other than a few tweaks in the files stream.ini and timecyc.dat (to improve draw distance), my installation is pretty much stock. What colors shoud there be? Following the table provided by OrionSR, you can use the same color numbering system that has been used so far. Edited October 2, 2015 by Hugo37
OrionSR 2,427
Reading through the opening posts, it looks like fnxrak modified his images to include the larger color grid for this topic. He mentioned a mod to allow more vehicles in the mod shops but nothing about modding the actual carmod routines. The 8x8 color grid is standard on PC. Added: I get the impression from some of the notes that the carmod colors are hard coded, but draw from the sequence of colors in the carcols file. If you change the color in carcols.dat it will change the appearance of all vehicles with those colors, and may even change the color in the mod shop menu automatically. But it will not change the numbering system. Edited October 2, 2015 by OrionSR
