I'm sure the Admins are aware of this and they'll get it fixed soon like they always do. Flood Control is only enabled to slow down spammers and you only have to wait one minute after you post so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Oh and, if you get that message after posting, just hit the 'back' button on your browser and post again. Because the post data isn't lost. radioman Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 (edited) Also, this problem is big in the IV and SA sections as well...I know it's not the flood control because it happened on my first post of the day and I don't post back to back to begin with, so for me, that should not be an issue...It is aggravating, cause when you have to reload to get the forums back up, it erases everything you just typed, so you have to re-type everything over again. It also happens when you first go to gtaforums.com in the browser-BEFORE you click on any sections/topics... It is not an internet issue, as I am not using a wireless connection-ie. my desktop is connected directly to the internet box via ethernet cord..This is with Firefox (latest version, I think?) and with IE 10 on Windows 7 Home Premium SP1. Just hit back and then the forward arrow (and confirm you want to resend the data) and you won't lose anything like shoumic said. I'm getting this message almost every time I make a post; especially then when I want either to post it, or just preview the post. I think there isn't much we can do other than hoping that the forum update will happen sometime in the near future. Anyway, the issue is still there.. I made the multiple post to test (add reply/fast reply), it didn't happen in this forum for me. And I just find the flood control really annoying, okay.. I understand why it's there, and I can live with it.. it's just goddamn annoying like fat people blocking an escalator. Just sayin Anyway... hope you get it resolved soon.
