This is alot sooner than you might think.... but what will come even sooner, is people getting the game early. There is always the possibility of review copies getting out, and people that are able to get the game early (1 week or even more in some cases) To keep yourself safe from anyone spoiling the game (because you know there is people here that want to do it) I would honestly put yourself on a media blackout and forum blackout by at LEAST very late august, or September 1st. maybe put yourselves on a 39-40 day countdown from today. just stay smart, and avoid having the game spoiled for you. A guideline some people may want to follow. This is for pre game release. After game release should be self explanatory. the probability of spoilers infecting the forums. Colors intensify. Oh of course, but I mean if you're going to buy something, I believe it's worth buying a good one once. Sure I could get some cheap chinese TV and it would probably look...okay. But then a few months later it'll just piss me off because it's sh*t and i'll splurge more. I am thinking maybe going for about $800 range, I could definitely spend more if I wanted to, but it's the peace of mind thing, if I pay too much it will constantly plague me "Did I spend too much on this?" Yeah I totally agree with this. It's more fun when it's a surprise . I wish I wasn't so addicted to GTA and information, and I never even saw gameplay or anything for this. I also advise disabling message notifications when on your console. Had someone spoil The Last of Us by giving it away in the message title while playing it. I don't like surprises and I don't like "anticipation marketing." I want to know. I will try and stay away from the forums from early September and come back after a month or so, but knowing me, the temptation to come back will take over me. If I get the game early (which has happened to me for the last 3 games I pre-ordered), I may post a topic giving my opinions on what I've played in the game so far, but I won't go into much detail nor give out any spoilers.
