XxElBigMex913xX
Wonder Woman 1984 is gonna be awesome like the first. Seems like the 2020 decade might be for DC now thanks to the success that Joker pulled out. MisFit-138

Joker is just Taxi Driver or Falling Down with maybe the most recognizable villain of all time. The movie does look good though, and that's why it's going succeed. But not because Joker did it any favors or anything. Hell, Aquaman made over a billion dollars and beyond visuals it was pretty basic. Shazam was successful, so was Suicide Squad and BVS. Justice League was their only financial failure. But heres to their continued success DexMacLeod
Jason
DC have got a long way to go still with their films IMO. They're putting out some good solo films now but their group/team-up films are a mess. Suicide Squad 2 might end up being good, but the fact that they have no idea how to do a Justice League film still is wat. Even "The Batman" sounds like it could be a hot mess. It could be unbelievably good, but the size of the cast for a solo film is insane, I don't know what they're going to do to keep them all from being pointless cameos. As for WW 1984, it looks.... good? The trailer gave me the same impression as the trailer for the first one did, looks good but nothing special, which was exactly what the film ended up being. iBUCKEYE
XxElBigMex913xX
Just a little heads up guys but DC has managed to score 11 Oscar nominations for Joker. And I gotta say, that's quite impressive for a DC film scoring many nominations like that over any other non-DC film I ever seen. Zello
Anyone watch Birds of Prey? What was the point of calling it Birds of Prey if the majority of the movie focused on Harley. At least we got to see Black Mask in live action and Victor Zsasz (no I don't watch Gotham) but I didn't like Ewan McGregor's performance at all. His costume was cool though. I didn't like Renee Montoya she was too old also where the hell was Barbara Gordon? The R rating is really going to harm this film too. Is this The Guy?
I’m going to be in the minority in this but I liked it a lot better than I thought I was going to. Well I pretty much went into it not expecting anything but I was thoroughly entertained through out the entire movie. And I thought Ewwwn was absolutely terrifying as Black Mask. I don’t know who the other guy is though. I only slightly remember him from the one Arkham game I played. As far as the R rating is concerned I had no idea it was going to be R rated before I went to watch it. I also don’t think a lot of other people knew it was R rated, or they didn’t figure it was going to be a somewhat hard R rating, because some people brought their kids to watch lol. I can undertand audience's ignorance. When I went to see Joker with friends, there were parent with children in the row below and above us. During the opening cene, where Arthur laugh uncontrollably, they've all been asking why is he laughing, not being able to comprehend depicted mental disorder. So if people were braindead enough to bring kids to see Joker, bringing them to this colorful trash doesn't surprise me in the slightest. What does, though, is how utterly imbecilic WB's management is, if they thought giving Harley an R rated movie was even remotely a decent idea, conidering she's probably the only comic character who genuinely appeals to teenage girls audiences. Not sure if the statistic still remains the same, but 2 years ago or so, she was outselling every other comic character when it comes to merch, including Spidey and Bats. And there's a corporate suit saying "yay" to Robbie's request to make this trainwreck R rated, on top of preserving the face tattooed Hot Topic aesthetic of Suicide Squad, combined with 0% comic accuracy, I mean come on. So if the movie is not for a solid chunk of Harley's fanbase, and it's not for fans of the comics, since aside from the name it has nothing to do with them, who is it for? Normies go and see nerdy movies only when they fear they'll miss something out. They come and go, they're not a reliable audience that would spread the good word and defend something. Fans stay, but if the product doesn't have anything in common with what they love, they won't be interested, and it really blows my mind that WB didn't see it coming from a mile away. They are literally doing the same thing over and over again, expecting diferent results. I'm afraid DCEU may be irreperable at this point. Too much harm has been done to too many characters, too many of them were completely butchered to possibly recover. Worst case scenario, this face tattooed dumpster fire will drag Wonder Woman 84 down, just like BvS and Suicide Squad dragged her first movie, for having sheer association with them. Flashpoint could maybe bring some hope, epecially since Morrison is involved with it, but that's one hell of a dark story, and one where both Aquaman and Wonder Woman are evil, so... yeah, I can't see its accurate adaptation working with casual audiences. Reeves' The Batman may complicate things in the long run as well, who knows.
Zello
I hope The Flash flashpoint movie fixes things and resets the continuity. They've ruined the DCEU too much. silly_nate
Jason
Isn't the continuity pretty loose at this point anyway? I think they're on record saying they aint really trying to make one big connected universe now, they're just trying to make good films that don't really bother with what the others are doing, except from probably not breaking continuity too much that potential crossovers wouldn't make sense. I've thought they've all but officially rebooted it for a while now tbh. Wonder Woman is in an awkward spot cause it's Gal Gadot still, but BvS and JL are in the WW films future for the most part so I feel like they could easily just retcon BvS and JL at any given time if they wanted to. As for Birds of Prey, the critical and audience response seems to be pretty good at least going by Rotten Tomatoes, I honestly just think the issue is that people just aint all that interested in Birds of Prey as a team, or Harley Quinn. I've never been particularly convinced she has any real sort of pulling power so it much surprise to me to see the film flop financially.
Zello
They should have gone with Gotham City sirens instead of Birds of Prey.

DexMacLeod
Finally saw Birds of Prey and, yeah, I liked it. Nothing special but far from bad. Much like Suicide Squad, it was pretty damn clunky in the beginning but this one did a much better job of smoothing things out as it went along. Once things really start to click it's a pretty fun ride to the end. Is this The Guy?
XxElBigMex913xX
Birds of Prey was actually pretty good in terms of fun and colorful stunt choreography. And it's way better than Suicide Squad. Definitely looking forward to see James Gunn's The Suicide Squad when it drops.
Jason
Set pics of The Batman are out in the wild, giving some pretty detailed shots of the suit on the stunt actor. Looks very video gamey to me for some reason, not huge on the shoulders or the sh*t on the forearms. There's a rumour that this won't be the only suit seen in the film but I guess we'll be waiting until the trailers at least to see if that is true. darthYENIK
The motorcycle is reminiscent of the one seen in the New 52 Zero Year arch from a few years ago. Which funny enough is what this that movie was rumored to be inspired by, and since it’s sort of an origin story, and the Riddler, it makes sense. If it is, I hope they have Barbara Gordon’s part in it, as I liked her arch in that story.

DexMacLeod
I kinda like it, honestly. I think it fits the whole "Batman in his early years" thing. It's gotta practical look to it that's pretty fitting of a Batman who maybe doesn't have much of a support team yet. I'm guessing this means they'll be filming some scenes with it in public pretty soon, though. Curious to see what it looks like in action.

Jason
At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce Wayne isn't a billionaire in this. Between the costume and the Batmobile I have the slight suspicion that they're going to pull something stupid that butchers the character. I hope I'm wrong but supposedly the film features Batman in his second year and he already should be rocking decent tech early on cause he's f*cking Bruce Wayne. This still looks quite expensive. Money or not though, those sci-fi Batmobiles we normally see in movies and modern comics would take a massive team to go from concept, to design, to fully functional. You can throw as much cash as you want at that but someone's still gonna talk. This car looks like something a small group of well vetted people could put together. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce and Alfred built this themselves. iBUCKEYE
Zello
So Ezra Miller gets in trouble. There's some footage going around. It's like the universe doesn't want The Flash movie to happen. He probably has friends at WB who will protect him and try to brush this under the rug but it's kinda hard to defend that.
