flyus747 Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 (edited) I found this article that compared GTA IV graphics to GTA V graphics (supposedly on the PS3) The difference is extremely visible in each comparison! The user has skillfully captured the each GTA V shot in GTA IV and I am extremely pleased that R* has been able to do all of this on a PS3 all on a steady (NO DROPS) 30 FPS while GTA IV had some FPS drops when things got a bit crazy. I personally see vast visual improvements but what do you guys think? We're you impressed? How do these shots compare to today (2013) games? Comments below! I wanna hear what you guys think! It would be better to actually compare gameplay of both games instead of polished up screens. Someone should make a video with real IV gameplay and the V gameplay to compare it. Dope_0110 Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Even though this comparison makes no sense as you don't compare promo shots to in game shot.. ever, this really also shows there is not much difference, especially when we remove the ''promo shot'' effect, we get that nice IV graphics with better lighting and I like it. S1LV3R_W0LF Posted July 20, 2013 Share Posted July 20, 2013 This comparison actually it is old like so many said, and it's of a maxed out PC version of GTA IV in 1080p with the promotional 720 screens of V. The V screens look way better specially if we think it's a console vs a PC with higher resolution, but for all we've seen most of the screens don't look like the actual gameplay, so better wait for the game and then compare the in-game shots with IV.
