ChristyCurran88
Hey I was wondering does anybody know if we will be able to surf in GTA V. I remember back when the first trailer was released we saw the surfboard beside the beach house and everyone seemed to be certain surfing would be in the game. Have Rockstar confirmed surfing yet? RoadRunner71
Would be awesome, though I'd say that it won't be possible
CallCenterZombie
I hope a mini-game of surfing is in the game but I highly doubt it.
DemonBlood666
Only Franklin seems like he would be into surfing out of the three main protags and even that's a stretch. I do want the banana boat from Jaws though...Shaa...SHAAARK!
flamacortez
I hope you can but i think it might only be for npcs Then again i might be wrong
Lock n' Stock
It would be interesting to see. I hope there's a Point Break reference somewhere.
DanieljJ
I'll be fine with it being an NPC only activity so long as I can come up from the deep and grab their board thus F'ing 'em up !
redx165
Could be. I remember back when we got the tennis screen shot that people told me it was the AI.
rapturerocks
Could be. I remember back when we got the tennis screen shot that people told me it was the AI. I think we would've seen surfing by now. I mean it's possible, but think of all the screen shots of the ocean; no surfing.
H. León
The thing is current consoles can't handle a decent sized wave. I don't think surfing will be in the game.
LibertyPrime
I wish they would add this. They do have waves and it is cali. It's nothing major, but cool none the less.
H. León
I'm afraid the waves won't be larger than this:
GTAFix
I'd love if they had it, but I doubt it. I can't imagine the waves will actually break, they will probably just roll into shore. Or in other words, un-surfable. Creating dynamic waves that actually curl and break would be a huge effort. Now unrelated to that, I used to play Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer on the GameCube and that game was awesome!
blowtorchrepair
@HUGOHL, if there is surfing then it may only be possible at one or a handful of locations with big waves. we can hope...
