mr quick
what's wrong with you? IV's Euphoria engine is miles ahead of anything else that's made today!

WillemHoef
well as we can see in the gameplay trailer when Franklin was in that shootout, you can see that especially the second guy he killed fell to the grown very realistically! when he was falling he got shot in the head and if you look closely you can see the impact and how the body reacted to it. i have high hopes ! SuperUmlungu
I thought GTA IV's Euphoria ragdoll physics were pretty good. Just for a laugh I would find a street with fast moving traffic and direct Niko into oncoming vehicles for satisfying ragdoll accidents. I also liked the fact that if you took off in a car that someone else was trying to get into, the other person would get dragged around the street still gripping the handle of your car. If R* have improved on these physics in V, then good for them.
ScarySquirrel
Nothings been said about them. I hope they've improved since IV. Euphoria in GTA IV was amazing! I can see V being similar, with some improvements.
PHOENIXZERO
Euphoria isn't the same thing as Ragdoll physics. Here's an old video demo to explain.
mr quick
Euphoria is what is used in IV. It is indeed a ragdoll, only with 'muscles'

Well, the engine itself is great (they still use it in MP3 and V for a reason), but how it is represented in IV is horrid.
SP3CTR3
the question is, are they bringing euphoria back to V or is it something new?

SheldonByrne
Think of it like this They started out with the Euphoria engine on GTA IV so they need to still generate revenue, now... as Euphoria is new to the developers they are still learning techniques RDR, GTAIV, Max Payne all use Euphoria it is improved in RDR as they learned a few things from GTAIV and same goes with MP3 think of RDR and MP3 as build up practices to GTA V thats how i see it they practice whilst generating revenue whilst implying the improved techniques into GTA V for the Ultimate END ERA game They truly are genius's and i think GTA V will be the greatest until the next one as they may even have new technology by that time and work with that
felixuta
Doesn't matter to me. The one from GTA IV was great, and I'd love more if they'd concentrate on making other mew things, for example a partially distructable enviorment (I know I wrote it wrong xD)... Trund
I don't really expect any major changes to Euphoria compared to GTA IV. Sure, movements and stuff will look better, but it'll not be something we haven't seen already in the past R* titles. Maybe for next generation of games we can expect a major overhaul in the whole physics system, will be interesting.
