After all they will most definitely be releasing all the digital content from the SE/CE versions! People are paying for those yet the blimp is free as long as you pre order. It isn't too uncommon to see pre-order "exclusives" go as free DLC a few months after a game releases these days. In my opinion, if you don't pre-order, you shouldn't get the pre-order goods. It'll be in every first run copy of the game whether you pre-order or walk into a store on that day or a couple days later and buy it off the shelf. Those who pre order/buy the other editions just get the content early. People who want the content to stay exclusive are self entitled, selfish individuals and quite honestly deluded. The code for the blimp is in the game case so you might get lucky and get a code inside the game case if you buy the game day one without making a pre order. Again those who don't buy these editions or pre order will have to wait months for the content and pay for said content. When you pre order you get the content for free. I'd respect your opinion if you had a point but I feel to see any reason to keep the content exclusive other than to stroke your ego. I'll leave it there though as this is pointless. PHOENIXZERO Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 (edited) Again, unless they sell out the first run entirely through pre-orders this won't be an actual pre-order exclusive don't think they've even said it's a pre-order exclusive, it's more "pre-order now to ensure you get the blimp" kind of deal that a lot of publishers have done over the years. The code for it is going to be in every copy of the game no matter where you buy it, that much is clear with how many stores are showing it, they're not going to split up the SKUs for a standard edition as a "pre-order only" copy and then "regular copies". It'll be in all first run copies and then excluded from copies in the later pressings. It's a marketing gimmick to give people an incentive to pre-order, that's it. Still a hell of a lot better than exclusive pre-order bonuses that stores usually get. The digital content that comes with the special and collector's editions, along with the blimp will all eventually be made available to everyone because Rockstar and Take-2 like money and even later still as part of a "complete edition" of the game that's bound to come out. But that won't happen until many months after release. EDIT: Guess I should have typed faster, I know I'm basically repeating myself with the blimp stuff. Preorder thing says if you preorder you get "guaranteed Access to the blimp", what that means to me is that if you preorder then every single time you go to the blimps spawn point it is there, however if you don't preorder then it's only at it's spawn point randomly.
