.Emmi
I hope it will be comparable - it would just be amazing What do you all think?
NeverHere
Don't think so, RDR is wild west and GTA is a city game with a wilderness. Gues they putted stuff in GTA from RDR but don't think you will get the same feeling walking in the wilderness like in RDR

Guess they putted stuff in GTA from RDR but don't think you will get the same feeling walking in the wilderness like in RDR Yeah, i'd have to agree, mainly because in RDR the wilderness was left mostly untouched because it was wild west times but in a game like GTA it's in the present so it will probably not have the same look and fell as RDR. AtomicPunk
It will be better, except their will be a 4-wheeler trail through it. I think the wilderness will be even more alive than RDR.

d3ex2
They aren't the same games but keep in mind just how big V's map is. Excluding the Los Santos City area and water area there is still probably enough area of the map to cover Redemptions map ~ 2.5/3 times (depending on just how big LSC is). When we are out in that open country, farmland, desert, mountain area it will feel similar to RDR. There will be wild animals wandering about. You'll forget all about the city area because it will be far away out of sight (unless you're ontop a mountain!). You will get lost sometimes. I just can't imagine a map that is 3.5X RDR. It will feel kinda like RDR but set in modern times. You'll be able to walk along the rivers, across desert, up huge ass hills, look out over the landscape and see no signs of wildlife or any towns or Los Santos city. It will be absolutely huge. It will blow RDR out the water.

d3ex2
oh man imagine looking down on los santos from the top of a mountain at night gee wizz Same! I can't wait to get in a plane and fly towards LS. When you get in the plane all you see is desert/countryside/mountains around you then when you get up in the air you can see sky scrapers of LS away in the distance behind the Vinewood Hills. You fly over the hills and the entire city just opens up before you. As you descend into LSX all the buildings get bigger and closer and start to surround you. Get out and drive slowly away through the city and stare up at all these huge buildings hanging over you. GTA V will be such a beautiful game. kesta195
Probably not, the main reasons being the fewer different types of wild animals and the reduced geographical variety (no snow-capped mountains or dense forests).
wwinterj
Hard to say really. I don't expect it to be as deep as Red Dead Redemption but given the fact that the city is just a small part of the map it's possible.
