Do you think she did a good job? Why do you think R* has decided to go with a female voice (seeing the MP3, LA Noire and RDR all had male narrators in their trailers)? R* wanted a female narrator to keep things fresh and also possibly to attract female gamers. It also feels very fitting to the whole modern california vibe. The German narrator (link) sounds even better then the en_us one. She has a certain sensual/erotic twist in her voice. Great voice, great voice. Did you like the choice of the female voice? Yes. blakeney Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 My bet (is a bit of a long shot [to some]) is that R* wanted to add to the numbers by making the girls feel more welcome. The rpg/custom elements are a good sign of this, also i have seen numerous "things" around the net, about girls that play gta.. which to most is just coincidence... but to those that know how well utilised "internet 2.0" is by brands etc, it actually seems pretty plausible that its all part of the foundations of a invite in to all girl gamers. Obviously I'm not talking the nicey nicey kitten loving sims moms..... but the 90% of girl gamers with a slight "edge".. I could be chatting sh*t, and the above is coincidence and the woman was chosen because Brian... the dude that won the job, come down with a terrible case of laryngitis that day, and she was all the voice acting agency had to offer on the day?
