Bertanius
I use the SNT in GTA IV to sit down, it finds and lets you sit on any chair/bench in the game. It adds some nice realism. I don't know how it would work in GTA V, maybe an 'action wheel', where you select an action, but I think that might be too much... Having a message pop up whenever you're near a seat would get a bit cluttered too.
GrahfTheEmperor
Doesn't the camera go first person when you ride in a cab in GTA IV? I don't see a reason why it would be different in GTA V when you ride in a cab or a bus.

clevertrev
when you ride the subway,Taxi or take one of the helitours in IV you would see the world in first person view & be able to admire the detail of the city while sitting back & having a smoke & a beer which I quite enjoyed. hope we get a similar opportunity to take tours in V. Yes you will be able to. There's the Vinewood Tour bus you can get on and I guess they just take you on a round trip of LS and might have a tour guide pointing out tourist attractions. I heard they also do a tour of famous Vinewood actors homes which should be cool.
TotesMagotes
I dont want first person here, but i want to sit on a bench etc. This is LS, GTA V and it looks beautiful, I want to thus sit down and take it in. I often eat dinner with the game on pause - here I could sit and watch the sunset while I eat. But no, I don't think we'll be able to Completely agree, sitting down adds another element to an interactive open world. Used this feature a ton in Skyrim. Magic_Al
I dont want first person here I think first person view gives you a better... view And that's what it's all about. I don't think it would work out in-game playing on a mission, or moving around in free-roam, but when you sit down, not moving around, then i think it would be nice but yearh, i guess we have to be realistic here What i think R* need to do is introduce first person as an optional camera mode - in IV for example we had three - close up torso, far away and medium. In V there would then be a fourth - first person. Would apply to driving too; a cockpit view. That way we get first person AND third person for those who want it. gta_fan28 - those screens are, i suspect one of a few things: 1 - cutscenes 2 - the in game picture editor - it's been suggested we can take photos of our cars - perhaps the protagonist will automatically lean on the car. 3 - or it's idle animation. Rockstar games since IV have reduced the number of selectable third-person view distances. I don't think you could change the distance in RDR. First-person is left out partly because they want you to see the character and partly because it requires a higher level of detail, since it moves the camera much closer to what the character is facing. Regarding seats, it was a nice feature in L.A. Noire, along with characters using door knobs. I don't see why the game can't treat every seat as a "enter vehicle".
