All the missions involving the player ( CJ ) to fly using a plane are my absolute favorites. It includes the Verdant Meadows Airstrip and Flying school missions, Mike Toreno's mission strand, and The Zero's mission strand.

There're too many other missions to list as favorites from the game.

Apart from OG LOC, Wu Zi Mu mission strand ( SF only ), Wang Cars mission strand and Madd Dogg, I enjoyed every mission immensely, so its hard to narrow it down as my favorites out of them.

Algonquin Assassin

I've always liked "Are you Going To San Fierro?". Burning down the weed farm with the flame thrower and cruising to San Fierro in The Truth's mothership was pretty cool.:)

Every "set" of missions are enjoyable, and one of the reasons being that all the "sets" are part of the full storyline.

San Andreas just felt like playing three different IV/TLAD/TBOGT/ sets but in an entire state of 3 cities with diverse settings all interwoven nicely into one fantastic story at the price of one.

It was easy if I've to choose between three different sets of IV but in case of SA, its like picking a "set" of mission that is connected with the entire storyline. The enjoyment in SA doesn't come in parts but as an entire experience for me, from the set of LS missions, the countryside then the SF and the deserts/LV.

In SA, the missions are so varied and fun that I got a taste of everything without an overabundance of any particular "set". The first time when CJ sets foot in LS, and then how smartly the hood part becomes less and less prevalent as you progress without cramming too much that I'll start getting both tired and bored with the ghetto theme. Instead I loved CJs progression, and how the player explores a larger world without being stuck in one part but the missions take the player through enjoying the street gangster life to getting involved with a variety of activities, full of twists and turns, surprises, and interesting characters later.

CJ shows genuine growth throughout the game. There was never a dull moment in this well executed story and every set gave a fun gaming experience.

Still the pinnacle of the series.

E:typo.

First LS Missions are the best designed, in my opinion.

The Las Venturas missions are my favorites, especially "Breaking the Bank at Caligula's".

Wish I was as good at flying like you guys are....I hate "Flying School" & "N.O.E.".

My favourite. Nice cutscene. Marks CJ's 'loyalty' (in a way) to the Triads.

Nothing will ever come close to the starting missions in Los Santos, no way. Oh the nostalgia :D

I love San Fierro missions.

But, I would say Ceser V & CJ on the lowrider + the racing between them after. I nod about 7 Savanna's my fave car. That part of the game changed the dynamics into what was going to transpire ahead..

I also love the freedom the countryside gives, but I just go for some freeroam inbetween missions. Las Venturas had lots of very creative missions, with so much extra stuff to do, so, those! :)

The early Los Santos missions involving Grove Street were great. I really felt that whole hood vibe and street gang mentality. Back when the game came out, all that gang stuff really had an impact on the youth around my city, not to mention in school. All of a sudden everyone was out tagging and starting up small gangs (with names, graffiti logos, all of it) around the city. My gang was out fighting as we lived in a rough neighborhood but some other gangs went as far as slinging dope. We never touched anything beyond beers, though. It was pretty insane back then what kind of impact this game had on people, and what it influenced people into doing in real life.

The whole set of missions was amazing but I'll say the original Los Santos missions as they represented the beginning of the greatest game I've ever played next to Vice City and IV. The return to Los Santos mission set was great too but they are also sad because you know the story is coming to a close.

Toreno's missions. Although they were frustrating I liked the feeling of doing the big jobs for a CIA agent.
