High Noon

Pros: Killing that prick, Pulaski.

Cons: He can get away and he carries a desert eagle.

 

 

For Pier 69 the thing that made me HATE this goddamn mission is what you (above) pointed as good. Ryder is my fav character there ever was.

Breaking the Bank at Caligulas

 

Pros - Everything, the whole Ocean's XI feel to the entire strand was just great. Especially the police outrider bikes, the forklift, the tear gas.

 

Cons - You can't keep the Caligula's Armored Truck

Cons: Failing to catch Sweet on the fire truck and having to start the mission again.

The mission is divided into 3 parts. So, after you start the mission again (without loading), you only have to do the chase part. wink.gif

Just Business

 

Pro- Good old fashioned shootout before a solid bike chase at the end.

Con- Big Smoke is a wanker and I didn't like helping him.

My favourite mission is probably

 

Amphibious Assault

 

Pros:

-The hilarious cutscene that I always watch instead of skipping it

-I like diving underwater for some reason, lol

-It is a No Wanted Level Mission so it can easily be used to collect oysters from Easter Basin, etc etc

Favourite Mission: Test Drive

 

Pros: Intro to N20,awesome chase scene,pure fun,loved racing

with Cesar,just drove fast...

 

Cons: Mission was too short,not enough dramatic

scene,cars used not sporty enough (banshee or cheetah

could be better)

+You sit in the backseat or somewhere and your a shootist, your also entering a hotel then there's 3 hookers who I love head-shooting. And Ryder appears in this mission. What better?

-Nothing really, aside from it being the last mission with your homies.

I'd agree with this. Honorable mentions to End of the Line and Just Business (which are similar missions). After Reuniting, the story starts getting very disjointed.

 

I do like Black Project a lot too. A little slice of Metal Gear Solid in GTA. I still wish it was made harder to go in with enough ammo, life/armor maxed from the Paramedic/Vigilante missions and run in blowing away everybody. I love sneaking around, popping people with sniper rifles using the thermal goggles.

Yes, the Black Project is up there with all the great GTA missions.

The only bit I found annoying was that I kept getting lost inside the base.

but I suppose that's just down to my inability to navigate.

I guess that could be annoying for some, but i never had really any trouble with that.

For me, it was seriously a near-perfect mission.

I used to keep getting lost too, it just seems to me there are loads of ways around the place, and I think you can only go one way... bored.gif

It's not a compulsory part of the mission, but I believe there is a marker inside one of the labs of Area 69 where you can turn off the SAM sites so that they won't fire at you when you're using the jetpack.

- great shootout, followed by chase...

what you need to do is fly low and once you get outside the gates, land on the ground and walk away from the base, out of range of the SAMs before heading back to Verdant Meadows. It's simple. Just have enough life/armor to survive one or two missiles.

There's that too, but sometimes I've not bothered with it knowing I can just as easily survive doing it without. Besides, I like to live dangerously. cool.gif

Which lab?

It isn't too hard to find. There is a room where you walk along a metal walkway. On the ground below are guards, there is one guard on the walkway with you. Over to you left and on the ground is a tunnel ( where you are meant to go), over to your left is the lab. You can see the red carona through the bullet proof glass. Walk straight ahead to the end of the walkway, turn right then walk stright until you come to a wall, turn right again then turn left at the doorway. There is the lab im front of you. Inside is a scientist and there is also a 3D model of SA (worth taking a picture of, i have).

 

I hope that detailed description is enough because it is only from my memory of my favourite mission icon14.gif

My Fav Mission: Monster

 

Pros: you get to manhandle that truck around terrains

Cons: Annoyingly slow if not played with proper game settings.

Black Project pros: You get to kill many enemies

You breach a highly secured facility

You finally get to use the Minigun.

 

End of the Line:

You finally kill that traitorous scum Big Smoke.

Tenpenny dies.

Best car chase in the game.

it was annoying the first time coz i hought you had to shoot the fire truck all the time and thats how my car kept exploding

i thought the car bar was showing the life of the firetruck...

The firetruck is bulletproof. It doesn't take ANY damage. Whenever I shot at it (even with an MP5) nothin happens.

Yeah, I remember I done that mission the first time, I thought the FireTruck will never blow, I thought "Easy, just shoot it and it will blow", guess not dozingoff.gif

Yeah, just like how the firetruck wont take any damage, Even our car(Feltzer) will not take huge damage really. I always had the car health meter almost at half full even after taking huge hits from The Vagos. That firetruck doesnt take damage in that mission or all over the game?

I'm pretty sure the fire truck and Feltzer are BP/FP/DP/EP. You can get the Feltzer with its "proofs" if you can find a way to dip the Feltzer underwater so as to fail the mission, and then get it back on land to drive to your garage cool.gif
