Girex
Hey there. I have installed GTA IV a few days ago on Windows 8 Pro, and today I've got a trainer and a vehicle mod installer ( and moded one vehicle with it ) and the game didn't want to open anymore giving me the error "GTA IV has stopped working" right after starting it. So I've uninstalled the mod, the respective program and deleted the trainer's files from the game's directory. And now, after cleaning up, when I want to start the game, it closes right after it starts ( before going fullscreen ) without giving me any error. Even if this problem will be solved or not, I will still have to uninstall it sometime but when I try to uninstall the game, it says "Your system is incopatible with %P. Please follow the link below for more information". And I really want to be able to get rid of it. Guys, please help.
CCPD
Manually removed games's installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\). Use CCleaner to clear and repair all broken registry. Afterwards, instead of uninstalling the game just install it again.
