Hvitdverg Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) METACRITIC GTA V Versus GTA IV Grand Theft Auto IV Grand Theft Auto V Grand Theft Auto Reviews IGN: Official Review from GTA IV Classic Game Room GTA IV review I have no doubt in my mind that Grand Theft Auto V will be a much better game than GTA IV gameplay wise, but I think many reviewers have changed their opinion on GTA IV in the years that came afterwards.(Blinded by hype) GTA IV had the benefit of being the first true HD experience in the series, Which I believe gave the game a huge advantage review wise. Brand new engine, brand new everything! GTA V on the other hand, has been in development for 5 years now. It's bringing tons of new gameplay mechanics to life, and the overall feel of the game seems to be much higher then GTA IV at the time leading up to release. Do you think GTA V has what it takes to beat a wooping 98 Metacritics score? I can hear it already, "While the gameplay is extremely fun and will without a doubt provide countless hours of entertainment, we can't help but notice the sub-par graphics." If they were already on the graphics in the May preview, you can bet you'll hear about it again in the review. Probably going to be a 9.8/10 for IGN. It doesn't really matter what the media rates the game anyway, cause we the GTA fans will love the game no matter what and thats all that matters. Anybody who is into different types of games may not have the same outlook on GTAV as other people. I have these two HOMOS I work with that all they talk about is COD all f*cking day and when I tried to talk to them aboutGTAV, they seriously could care less and one said " I played one of them for a little a few years back" to me that is crazy but to an idiot like hime I am crazy. A biased SA fanboy he sounds to me. I've seen fairer critiques of GTA IV on here by people who don't feel the need to say "sh*t", "retarded", "gay"etc every few seconds. He made of not known were Niko was from cause he might of not payed attention to the story. The point of a open world game is the gameplay in the world in which GTA IV lacked.
