Also I think there should be a guide to trophys on here. I couldn't find this question or anything to do with trophys so go easy. Durden Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 I'm somewhat of a trophy hunter, but admittedly, I gave up with IV's platinum because of 2 trophies: The flying rat trophy, and the Petrovic trophy. No way I'm killing 500 flying rats, and I could never find people dedicated enough to beat R*'s record time. I found this 1 guy, but even he gave up. For V, though, I don't care how difficult or tedious the trophies are to achieve. I am determined to get the platinum, and will not stop playing until I do. Skyline_Mad Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 (edited) I really wanted to get the IV Plat but by the time i became a trophy hunter there were too few players on GTAIV to make the long road to plat fun, i tried to do the coop missions like when saving petrovic but got bored after a few days of doing it, i don't even think i am half way yet lol. Also i couldnt be bothered to boost with people as i don't like being stuck with other players for more than an hour unless they are friends. As long as the mp trophies are not too annoying i should be able to plat V, as i have at least 8 PSN friends that i am close with (only 4 of them local friends) that are getting it and should be playing mp regularly, i can see the mp being very long lasting if done right so if there were to be a trophy like IVs infamous "Wanted" and "Auf Wiedersehen Petrovic" trophies, i should be ok this time around. I'm actually thinking of trying again for those IV trophies, as there should be more players between now and V's release, even if i have to boost, but proly wont be untill 2 or 3 weeks before release, as i have 4 metal gear games to get through and want to play at least a couple weeks of BF3 MP (proly wont have time to after V's release as i may be on GTAV and GT6 untill i get a PS4 with BF4) Would be a great trophy to have in my opinion. I will strive to compete the single player part of the game 100% and get all of the Trophies I can along the way, but Trophies aren't a priority for me personally. That one was fairly easy for me. If I recall correctly, I think I used the subway to get outside of the search zone without running into cops. I also didn't bother with most of the online ones as online trophies suck for the most part. I did however get 100%. I'll do the same with V. Give it a shot and if some are stupid/not fun I'll leave them. Might get platinum, might not. Depends how I feel.
