Leo687
First off let me just say yes I know this isn't going to be RDR. But I am really interested in seeing if the animals in the game have more options then stand still, flee and eat. I'd love to drive down a motor way and find a pile up because a deer has randomly run onto the motorway and been hit. I'd love to see other animals have this type of behaviour two not just stay out in the wild but venture into the city at random times I mean imagine getting on to your game getting out the house just to find a bear running past I would sh*t myself as it wouldn't be the first thing I'd expect to see if coming home after work and popping in gta v. Dope_0110
That's not a matter of AI but rather a matter of them being scripted to appear in certain areas just like no gang members appear in rich areas of town, and no celebrities appear in the ghetto. That thing is easily changeable in previous GTA's on PC as files are made so that even kids can mod them. As for their AI.. well, usual, a few animations to walk, or look like they're eatin/drinking and run or chase when you come near.
jamieleng
I think we're finally going to get animals preying on each other (sure it was mentioned in a preview), something strangely lacking in RDR.
The Sullinator
I read somewhere (Can't be arsed to find the exact article) that one of the guys who saw the demo said he saw a clip of Michael driving down the road at night, and a deer ran out in front of his car and Michael had to swerve the car and yelled some sort of vulgar swear. DarkDayz
The dogs were pretty tight when it came to the movement following in RDR, if they refined the mechanic a bit more for GTA V, happy days.
