Game2048
L.A. Noire This happens very rarely with excellent-rated games, but I'm a bit disappointed. Very empty, copy/paste, dead open-world. Almost all characters are pretty unmemorable(except Rusty, Bikowski ), cases are pretty similar, tasks during the missions are pretty similar, locations during the cases are also pretty similar. Absolutely boring and uninteresting secondary missions - they are very short and very similar to each other There is almost no creativity in the game. elephant punch
I just bought a pretty good gaming rig so i've been spending my $ on old games as well as games i've wanted to play but didnt want to spend a whole bunch of money on. They have the entire (3D) GTA Collection for 14.99!! It used to be cheaper than that! However, once Steam and Rockstar seen how popular the package still was the next time it went on sale it was considerably "bumped up". Sneaky sneaky Rockstar. Actually its 12.49 Cheap nonetheless

DarkDayz
I just downloaded GTA 3, VC and SA on my mac in the steam sale for £4.50. Best deal. £8 including GTA IV and episodes, but didn't buy because not compatible with mac. Going to give SA a proper playing for 2 months, didn't play that game properly, just cheated to complete, the games were hard back then. Playing through Limbo as they download too, supreme indie title.

hitman_for_hire
To keep your mind off gta v ?? Iv been playing the last of us I restarted my single player on the hardest difficulty and I'm enjoying more than the first playthrough and I'm like a level 21 on multiplayer which I've really enjoyed playing. Its very underrated and unique I highly recommend this game if u have a ps3 plus don't forget a big sack of weed u will really enjoy it then lol. That's exactly what I'm playing right now. Beat it first in normal mode, after letting it sink in, I just started it on the hardest setting. That game is incredible. More dev's need to make games this good. I'm a sucker for anything post apocalyptic and zombie related. I'm also getting ready to play The Walking Dead 400 days. The first TellTale Games': The Walking Dead was nothing short of amazing story telling. I highly recommend it. Just playing games and living life, September will be here before we all know it. My Bithday is in Sept. a week after GTA V releases! I'm sure I won't even remember my BD because I'll be busy play V! I heard the walking dead is very good I might look into getting it and its crazy I haven't actually seen or heard one person say the last of us is a bad game I'm hoping they add horde mode to multiplayer imagine how fkin good that would be. Agni
For the longest time I was playing Just Cause 2. Seriously good game, one of the few good non-GTA sandbox games. Otherwise I'm going through Burnout Paradise. inb4 GTA fanboy sees this post and starts screaming "OMG JC2 SUCKS YOU STUPID POOPHEAD" like its existence offends him

Kreuzn
Playing through Max Payne 3 one last time. This time on hard difficulty free aim. I stuck to auto aim in max payne 3, red dead redemption, and gta 4, so I figure I might as well learn to aim completely for myself rather than just aiming slightly up for headshots. Plus it should help me prepare for shooting in gta 5. (Planning on playing free aim online and offline this time around). And I found a couple of old games stuck away under my bed that I don't have any trophies for yet so I'm playing through those quickly for the hell of it. BUT THE BENZ
Max Payne 3 made me want to eat my own hands. Linear, boring, restrictive gameplay. Last of Us is insanely good. First time in a very long time I've felt a little depressed that the campaign ends. That's one reason why I didn't enjoy MP3 to the fullest. I don't mine the linear part but the repetitive gameplay and lack of freedom in how you can kill them. That's one thing I enjoyed about The Last of Us. I can choose if I want to go ALL out, use stealth, or just avoid them. I really am hoping The Last of Us Story DLC comes out before GTA V. last of us and max payne 3 in the same sentence......*applaudes*

Fedor
I'm playing San Andreas, but I wouldn't say that I'm playing it to keep my mind off of V since it's still a GTA game. It's more like I'm playing it to help get myself prepared for V. Not only that, but after playing SA for so long, I just popped in EFLC for the first time in a while and it looks absolutely amazing compared to what SA looks like. So if I keep playing SA, by the time V comes out I'll be even more blown away by the way it looks
smokeNdrank
I decided I would play through my R* games from start to finish again. Since last November I have finished GTAIV + EFLC then RDR + Undead Nightmare, and I just finished Max Payne 3 again in May. I picked up LA Noire after finishing MP3 and I'm on the third or fourth case. I've played through the story in The Last of Us and I played quite a bit of the MP too. It's a great MP mode for anyone looking to get away from CoD's pace. Lastly, I've been playing New Super Mario Bros. U with my wife, she loves that game! I plan on picking up Splinter Cell: Blacklist in August and possibly NHL 14 on the 10th of September. I love NHL games and I buy them every year (I know ) but I am considering not getting it this year since the most I will get out if it will be one week.
