Can you fly BIG planes/jumbos in GTA 5?

Rockstar shows (private) jets/small planes in their trailers/gameplay videos. They rarely show jumbos. Here's the only thing I found when it comes to jumbos:

 

It looks like a mission though. Don't know if we can fly big planes in GTA 5. What do you think?

hey EINSTEIN, just because trevor flies a jumbo, it doesn't mean WE can fly it. it's part of a mission, we can watch him fly a jumbo. that's a big difference.

Doesn't necessarily mean we can fly them freely. This could be a mission where you can't even control Trevor.

This is a cargo plane, not a jumbo. In SA, we could fly any plane we want apart from passenger one's, with the exception of ONE 747. This time it's going to be the same, we just can't obviously fly passenger planes, but we can fly most of them. Use your head.

Incorrect, I've been working on planes for 10 years, both military and civilian, all around the world. A 747 is a jumbo jet regardless of what variation you are talking about, the 747-200 combi is the best example of this.

I think we will be able to fly huge planes (cargo/747/etc) in GTAV, but I also think they will be hard

to steal and impossible to keep. I mean, do you guys really think we can purchase a property that

has a space large enough to hold a cargo plane?!

I hope so, would suck to only use it in one mission. The blimp is fairly big so i do see why they wouldn't let us, plus they said it will have the largest selection of vehicles (hope that includes air travel)

As mentioned in the "Jumbos" thread a few days ago, based on Michael's trailer, it appears that the 747 has no interior and is likely not flyable (door and windows have little texture). However, anything can happen between April and September and I remain cautiously optimistic. As for the screenshot featuring Trevor flying what appears to be the Andromada, it is possible that it will only be flyable during a mission, perhaps a mission requiring you to abandon the plane mid-flight (think trailer 2). Once again though, I remain cautiously optimistic about being able to fly these planes whenever we feel like it...

The Andromeda in SA didn't have interiors either. I find it pointless because, well... what's the point? It's not like we can stuff it full of people lol. The cockpit should be the only interior.

To OP, yes I think we can fly Jumbos! There's also medium sized 737/A321 aircraft which should also be flyable.
