Both are European immigrants. 2. Both fought major wars. 3. Names (Niko Vito). Almost the same pronunciation and letters. 4. Both involved in story events they were trying to stay away from. The past is keep hunting them. 5. Both are looking for an illusion, that's the American Dream. 6. Both live in New York-based cities. 7. Both drive cars and deal with typical MAFIA. 8. Both have an annoying fat friend, Roman and Joe Barbaro. 9. Both use weapons and guns. And in my opinion Joe Barbaro was far from annoying, he was a great guy. Joe is one of the best videogame characters ever. "You're dead, you slanty-eyed f*ck!" and "I'm gonna splatter your yellow brains all over this f*cking place" made me laugh back in the day.
