CJ4LIFE1294 Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 Ok so I read somewhere that electric cars were going to be available to drive in gta 5 and I was like ok that's interesting but then I thought what the hell is the point I mean what significance do they serve are they faster ? I dno I want to basically know what you guys think about this and if there has been anything confirmed on this subject by all means lock the topic if there has been one already made about this just link it to me so I can read about it. Sticky Pads Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 Rockstar loves to put in fine details that serve no purpose other than enhancing realism, so the electric cars could be just for the sake of having silent cars, which actually will be pretty cool. MrcTOtheJ Posted July 18, 2013 Share Posted July 18, 2013 I hope they get the quirks of electic cars down, they're pretty much silent, only have one forward gear, they accelerate quickly off the line due to instant torque, but have a realitively low top speed in compairison to other cars on the average. Should be intresting to see if Rockstar gets it right, should also be intresting to see what the proformace mods will be changed to, since you can't Turbocharge an electric motor after all.
