Adding paint jobs for stock vehicles

Now, I'm angry... I was trying to add a paint job for a Voodoo, Sentinel and a Willard. This tutorial here, says that when you want to add a new paint job you have to rename stuff and change the dff file with notepad. It's understandable, but what, if the vehicle does not have a texture for the body? I don't know nothing about editing dff files... HELP!!!
