Jakee.
Hello, As some of you may be aware, I am looking at opening up a GTA V dedicated website. Currently, the logo has not been complete and I would really like to get it done today. I absolutely love the way Rockstar have created the GTAV logo, it gives a sense of emboss and a 3D effect, with both the inner and outer borders. I was wondering if anyone could provide me the following details to possibly try and recreate it myself, or if anyone would like to try they may. Font Name Font Size How to do the border (in GIMP) Text that will be on the logo is "GTAV.PW", with the V being the official V logo. I wouldn't even call myself a novice at graphics so any help with how I could achieve this would be vastly appreciated. Thanks, Jake
Graven
I made a PS tut of it last year, blitz added the slant effect tut. It´s in the tutorial archive: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=517962 If You have used gimp, it should not be hard to create it in a similar way. The net effect can be done with a spyrogimp. Filters > Render > Spyrogimp. Use something sharper for font like Times New Roman bold.
Jakee.
Hey Graven, I was actually referring to the text "GTA and .PW", in the official logo they have created some pretty awesome border-inline-outline stuff. The actual V i'm not too sure whether to create a new one or to just use the official V. Thanks for the tut, if I decide to create my own V ill definitely refer back to it
