GunWrath
So I just got a Nintendo Wii for free and the only game I've ever played on it was at my nephew's or something and that was Wii bowling and some carnival game. Are there any games out there for it that are actually decent? I've heard Mario Kart is kind of fun on there.. not sure. Figured I'd go out today and look for some cheap Wii games, heard Wii games are super low right now, never really looked.
AceRay
Metroid: Other M ha ha ha no never Seriously though, if you're into some manly, hardcore Wii games, Red Steel 2 is pretty fun for some hacky slashy sword play with the wii remote, its actually pretty invigorating and is the only game that really uses the motion control to its advantage. Twilight Princess is a pretty good game for Zelda fans, probably one of the console's better games. I've heard Conduit 1 and 2 are pretty FPS games. Those are the only ones I've really played at a friend's house. I'm not a fan of the Wii, a console seemingly designed for fat housewives and casual gamers. Anyway, hope you enjoy it, you got it for free I hear? How did you get it?
GunWrath
I'll look into the sword slasher for sure. But yeah, I got it from my nephew. He's more into Xbox 360 and PC these days and hasn't played his Wii in like a year and said he doesn't plan to, so I took it off his hands. I'm picking up all his games tomorrow.. I think he has like 10-15 Wii games, if not more. Mainly kiddy stuff from when he first got the Wii but I'll def play the Wii Sports and Carnival one.. sh*t was fun. Ha ha, yeah, most of the people I know who own Wiis admit they just played it a few times and then it just sits on a shelf, probably the main reason I'm not picking one up for like fifty bucks. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are pretty fun too, albeit a little bit easy. Mario Party 8 is pretty fun for when you have a few friends around, although MP3 will always be the best Mario Party game. The first party Nintendo games are probably the main attractions in terms of games.
Flachbau
I don't know a lot about the Wii, I really know more about the Wii U. But I found a few links for you, so you can find out what you want. http://www.gamesradar.com/best-wii-games-all-time/ http://www.metacritic.com/feature/25-best-wii-games http://www.gamestop.com/collection/best-wii-games I advise checking the Gamestop link out first, it gives a boat load of games so you can look for a bit and pick what you seem interested in. GunWrath
I'll definitely grab up Super Smash Bros, I remember playing that on N64, fun as sh*t with your friends. Thanks for the links and suggestions. Also, I've noticed on the main menu of the Wii, he has Pokemon Snap (I remember playing that on 64) as well and Super Mario 2 and Super Mario 3 on there. So I will def be replaying though. He also mentioned I might want to buy one of those SNES type controllers for the Wii too, he said his was broke. But I'm not worried about that controller honestly unless I get hardcore back into SM2 and SM3.
