Kyborg
I just baught GTA4 off steam, installed it, and after i load into the first mission, everything in the game is Red and Yellow, i can still see the shapes of the character and outside world but its literally pitch red and yellow. I have reinstalled the game, i have updated to most recent driver, then tried the driver update before that. im using the nvidia gtx 550 ti card. any help or if anyone has encountered this problem would be much appreciated, after seeing the trailer for gta 5 ive been craving to play GTA. thanks in advance. p.s. id take a screenshot of the problem but when i paste to paint it just shows up all black for some reason. CCPD
Make new Notepad file. Name it "commandline" (without quotes). So the whole file should look like "commandline.txt" (without quotes). Open it and copy and paste the text below: -noprecache-nomemrestrict-norestrictions You can also add the command line below. -availablevidmem 2.0 If that doesn't work, try increasing the number to one of the following. -availablevidmem 3.0-availablevidmem 4.0-availablevidmem 5.0-availablevidmem 6.0etc. Save it and put it in a folder with your GTAIV.exe file. CCPD
Have you tried launching the game in different compatibility modes or as administrator (RMB on games's .exe --> Properties --> Compatibility)? Have you tried deleting your game's settings file (click here to see how)? What are your full system specs? Have you tried lowering all graphics setting to minimum?
