Robbers are very rarely self contained, but I'm sure you haven't read any crime books or movies or done any research. Second of all, you should really stop criticizing a half-Italian person about stereotyping of Italians. And I never said I thought he was a mob boss just because he is a criminal, I just thought that it made perfect story sense, he must had left Liberty City to cut his ties rather than to just start over, if it was for the weather why would he not go to Vice City? Better weather over there, but more mob presence...

Zinthaniel
How does being italian automatically mean "Mob Boss" Look I know Hollywood has filled your brain with this perception of reality but truth be told there are mob bosses affiliated with all races There are also Italians who run street gangs, do petty crimes, and participate in other unorganized crimes. Here's a long list of many mob bosses. Note how they are not all italian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Mob_bosses Point being made even if michael turns out to be italian it doesn't mean he will be a mob boss. Cause then by your same logic we might as well assume that anyone of any other race just might as well possibly be a mob boss. There's absolutely know reason to believe so and referencing that fact that you are half-italian does nothing for your argument. Hollywood has filled bullsh*t into people's minds. That's why some people assume Italian characters are mob bosses. Movies have the biggest influence. For instance, Casino and Goodfella's. The mob's in the movies are Italian and a lot of people think a lot of Italians are mob bosses.
Sborges91
Michael doesn't strike me as a former member of the Italian Mafia. PHOENIXZERO
I'd hazard a guess that Micheal's ancestry is predominantly Irish while Amanda's is British, maybe with a little Italian thrown in. Edited July 18, 2013 by PHOENIXZERO

He was a f*cking bank robber, as we've been told in every preview so far + the gameplay vid. I'm sick of people obsessing with 'he's white, he might be italian'. No.
Vagos MC
I just figured it. Michael could of worked for a Mafia family in Liberty City, put in the witness protection program and re-located to Los Santos.
