Which will you play first: GTA V or SRIV?

I had only heard of SR before so I went on youtube to check the 4th's gameplay and it looks like GTA if it came with every crazy fan made mod in the package.

I'm not even buying or going to play SR4, so yeah. No intrest, at all. SR2 was good, SR3 was well meh, and 4 looks to just be 3 and steroids...so yeah no thanks.

Grand Theft Auto: V, on impulse. Having said this, I loved the caliber of vehicle customization that Saints Row and Saints Row II implemented. The vehicle customization in Grand Theft Auto: V will be paradise and legendary. I am excited to sift through the plethora of options and evaluate how various vehicles will function in response to performance atonements. The flexibility to calibrate the vehicle physics will be fun experimenting.

I'm still waiting for TLOU to drop in price. No way in hell I'm paying full price for SR4... if I even get around to playing it, that is. Between IV, TLOU, and the new CoD Zombies maps, I've got plenty to keep me busy until September.

I hated Saints row the third. Saints Row IV seems even worse. Same map,Graphics and now it has super powers.WTF? If your going to buy Saints Row buy Saints Row 2 or 1. There a 10000000x better than Saints Row the Third. I actually enjoyed those games and thought they were fun and pretty good.

I honestly thought that SRIV would be overpriced DLC, but after reading a IdolNinja's article, saw some gamelay, and some dope ass trailers, I'm excited since many of my favorite characters NEIL PATRICK HARRIS and BENJAMIN MOTHAf*ckIN KING return. Though idk if I'm gonna get IV or Payday II while waiting for V. IV seems worth it though IMO.

First you complain that SR 1/2 is a clone of GTA and now since SR went it's own way with over-the-topness and aliens and other random sh*t, you are complaining that this is stupid and childish and sh*t. I don't get it

 

Meh, I honestly though that the first two games were alright, they were similar to GTA but still had enough originality to stand out.

Now it's like they are having an existential crisis, it's like their main selling point is "look at us, we are so different from GTA".

 

Sometimes I wonder if SR3 would have even been popular if GTA IV turned out to be SA 2.0...

I will wait for gta v. I played sr2 and i liked it but then i played sr3 and it really was trying so hard not to be like gta that it got rid of alot of stuff that made sr2 good. sr4 just looks like sr3 dlc for full price so im not buying that

Never played SR3 and I will not bother to play SR4, the SR series is rubbish now.

SRIV is a full-priced Saints Row The Third Expansion pack, who the hell would pay money for this unscrupulous cash grab? Seriously, what have they added in SRIV that couldn't have been DLC? Reskinning the rival gangs as aliens and changing the running speed and jumping height does not a REAL sequel make.

SRIV is gonna suck *ss. It entirely destroyed it's story, gameplay and funfactor (for me). I liked 1 and 2. 3 was kinda okay, but IV is just to much, to wierd, and the same F*CKING CITY???!!! WTF I ain't gonna give 60 bucks to that sh*t.

I don't plan on getting SRIV. Ever. I'm a Saints Row fan but Volition really killed the series after SR2, in my opinion. Sure there were some improvements but it was a big letdown. Vehicle and Character customization stripped. Fun gameplay mechanics/glitches that had potential were taken out (Spider Bike, Ripping street signs and fire hydrants from the ground, Melee on bikes etc).
