Which will you play first: GTA V or SRIV?

If I do play SR4 at all, it will be when I borrow it from a friend.

 

I only have like 1 friend that likes SR games, though (likes them better than GTA), but even he said he might not get SR4 because it looks crap.

 

Oh well. If I never get to play SR4 in my life, I wouldn't care. The only reason I'm even remotely interested in the game is because its based off my favourite movie - The Matrix.

Played and enjoyed SR2, played 2 hours of SR3 and thought it was dog muck. The same city again and just too silly. SR4 just looks like more of the same mediocre crap.

 

So yeah...I'll be playing GTA V first.

I'll be getting it, (an overseas import, NOT a pussified, sanitised, watered down Australian copy) so I guess it'll be SR IV first but the anticipation I have for it isn't anything even remotely close to approaching the anticipation I have for GTA V.

I liked Saints Row when it was Saints Row not Saints row the Turd and never Saints Row IV they will not get a dime of my money nor any of our Saints Row fan Group on FB money causing Volition to loose over a 100,000 dollars. Its all GTA V for me as it has been since GTA 1

GTA V first possibly. I probably won't get SRIV until much later when it's cheaper. Hopefully if there's a good deal for it on Black Friday I'll get it then.

If Saints Row Four comes out for rental before GTA Five comes out for purchase...then I will play SR4 before GTAV.

 

I enjoyed the first two SR games but the Third was a massive disappointment to me personally.

 

The developers have stated that SR4 is not the last in the franchise but is the last in this continuous story. I'm hoping that Saints Row 5 or Saints Row Reborn, or whatever the fifth game will be called, will go back to the foundation of the series rather than ramping up the craziness as 3 and 4 have done.

 

The combination of dead serious characters with crazy stuff happening, serious reactions to absurd events, that kind of thing was fantastic. Plus the character customization in Saints Row 1 and 2 aka back when they had layering. Awesome.

 

Wacky characters, wacky moves, wacky weapons, wacky enemies and allies, wacky bloody everything just becomes a mess.

 

In My Opinion.

 

SR4 will still be fun if you go into it expecting wackadoo everything. I'd probably have fun going through the story just like I had fun going through the SR3 story....but all that wacky sh*t ruins replay value. For me.
