SR3.25 is ripping off Prototype now, but Prototype is much better at being Prototype than Saints Row could ever hope to be. SR1 and 2 are the only SRs worth playing, specially 2.

GTA V. I'll buy Saints Row IV in a full package edition when the price has come right down much like I did with Saints Row The Third. That's if I bother at all.

 

Saints Row IV was supposed to be DLC for Saints Row The Third however they decided to make it into a game to get more cash no doubt. I can't justify myself buying a rushed game like that at full price. Even more so when I know there is a strong chance a full package version will come out.

I ain't touching SRIV. I bought III for £5 and it was a waste of money. The story sucks and the game got boring after 20 minutes.

I am not getting saints row four. That game can go fall in an abyssal plane of madness and despair. I mean seriously what the hell was volition thinking! All they're doing is making an extended crappy dlc with no improvement. The weapons are garbage, they basically removed the need for vehicles, they awkwardly killed off all of there actually good characters and they made the made a ridiculously retarded storyline that a 2 year old could write.

 

So yeah GTA V for me.

I do not love SR, I bought the $60 version. I bought the $150 CE for GTA V. I will enjoy it though, I know what to expect of it and if it gives me 1 month of fun and makes the time fly by to V it will be worth it. I enjoy games like this, I like crackdown, prototype and the like.

I think you shouldn't judge a game by older series and especially if that game is not even out yet. Before getting SRTT, I was watching many vids about it and the game felt empty with almost nothing to do. I bought it (for 27 Euros, deal with it) and it turned out that the game actually is fun. I understand people have different opinions and preferences and I respect that but some people say sh*t before even actually looking for information.

 

By the way, if this would be SR3.5 then we wouldn't be a president 5 years after the events of the third. Instead, we would still be running around with dildo bats, attacking brutes with them and the game would be called "ENTER THE DOMINATRIX", not "IV".

@Wildbrick you do know SR IV was suppose to be a DLC for SRTT. Also I enjoyed the original more cause it felt like GTA while GTA IV didn't.

I'll be renting SRIV from GameFly when it releases. Might as well give it a shot as I have all the other SR games. Saints Row was actually the first game I ever played on my 360 all the way back in 2006 and it pushed me to buy a next gen console. Of course it will never come close to the quality of GTA V, so I want to play it first because I could never enjoy it if I experience GTA V first. Luckily, it releases at the perfect time to get it out of the way just before GTA V's release.
