Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 IV was a huge disappointment after SA, but even then it is still currently the most advanced simulation you can play in video games, pound for pound ahead of any other game out there, any game that looks better only does so because it spent less on the rest of the game and most on graphics (performance and money). That said, this is basically the new SA if IV was compared to III, so there is absolutely no chance no matter how bad it is, it's going to be better than IV, which as a disappointment as far as GTA goes, is still one of the best games (and the defacto best action adventure) ever made. So it's a safe bet, this is going to be better, because it's built up from IV "disappointment" (again, even the disappointment of IV AFTER SA is still better than most of the garbage out there being passed off as games today, and still better than most of the quality games too) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Karato2300 Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 While possible, I doubt it'll be "terrible", at least from a technical standpoint. Rockstar is practically obsessed with making sure each of their games are near flawless (with only the fewest of bugs and the like). And even if it doesn't somehow satisfy a lot of people, it'll undoubtedly please more than enough folk. The real question is, will there be too much to handle? Personally, I welcome such a large and filled world. It means having tons to do along the way. And long as it's still fun and fresh for a while, I doubt many of us will be starting over the game save for just the fun of revisiting the beginning. If the game was so full of bugs and nothing worked it wouldn't even be in the market, a few bugs will naturally exist but will get a fast patch to fix them. The apprentice keeps 2$ for himself and gives 3$ to the students. That makes 1$ returned to each one.
