Miro
Are you using any mods or cracks? Have you tried to re-install the game? This could work. Try running the game in Windows 2000 Compatibility mode or any other Compatibility mode, and try to also run it as administrator. If nothing works, try to install the Games for Windows Live Update. If needed, also use xliveless, but it'll disable online play. Though, I hope you fix it with the other solutions before you get to this option. If anything works please reply back. AndyPandyy
I'm not using any mods or cracks. I just re-installed to see if that would fix anything and it didn't. I tried to run it different modes but no luck there either. For some reason the link you posted isn't working for me I don't know what the problem is. It's just a black screen and I can hear the sound still.
CCPD
Have you manually removed games's installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\) before installing the game again? Have you tried launching the game as administrator (RMB on games's .exe --> Properties --> Compatibility)? Have you tried deleting your game's settings file (click here to see how)?
