WillemHoef
So, basically i was wondering how streaming works, everybody is on about not being able to buy GTA V for Ps4 at launch, but i heard and read that Ps4 will be able to stream Ps3 games to it. so how will that work out with GTA V? I hope that this isn't the dumbest question of the universe but please try to aswer normally. EDIT: Another question, IF it'll be able to stream, will it be from launch or not? what do you think? TakinThyBacon
It would be just like your playing on the PS3, same way that playing a PS2 game on a PS3 works I'd imagine. Same exact game, just a different gen console.
Trund
I can imagine that the first games that work over streaming will be Sony games, therefore most likely no GTAV.

Same exact game, just a different gen console. No no, not at all. The PS4 (The Xbox one aswell compared to Xbox 360) has a completely different architecture, more like a PC, which means that PS3 games won't work on PS4. Sony has promised some sort of streaming service which would stream PS3 games to PS4. However, this service won't be released until early-mid 2014, and will require an amazing internet connection to play without noticing button input lag. They said the streaming service starts in 2014 but we don't know exactly how it works or what titles will be available to start. I'm assuming they would want to get all the highest rated/critically acclaimed PS3 titles out there first.

Vagos MC
It's actually quite disappointing that GTA V won't be released on the PS4. It probably will like 6 months after the release of the PS4. I'm sure there will be some trophies but I don't see the point in mastering them when the majority of people are going to abandon the PS3 for the PS4. S1LV3R_W0LF
I don't get it why this is interesting. The NVIDIA Shield allows you to stream a game from a PC into the gamepad which have a small screen that allows you to play anywere you want within the PC range. But whats the interest of connecting a PS3 and stream the game to a PS4? The graphics won't change, neither the performance or use of memory, the only difference will be the gamepad which is very identical to the PS3 and the extra features won't be usable, so wouldn't be easier to just play it on the PS3? Or is some other kind of stream that I'm not understanding?
