Let me start a thread on a forum dedicated to one specific game series asking if the other members think any upcoming game will be a competitor to the next game in said series! Saints row, Mafia, Watch Dogs (i dont know why but yea), Driver; are called GTA-like, but not GTA. Any future games similar to them will be called the same. Because GTA didn't copy the open-world aspect from other open-world games before it. Regardless if III improved it... Stop it, GTA also copied the open-world aspect from games before it. First of all MGSV is not a turd if you follow the MGS series. I'm not being a fanboy here I love both of the series TBH MGS series is more popular when it comes of the story telling and GTA series can't achieve that. I know both games are different so they don't need to compare. But what I'm saying is MGSV is not a turd like what you're saying. Maybe you're the turd cause you don't know what MGS series is. Back to the topic the only game I can think of is Watchdogs, why? Because of the gameplay and the uniqueness of the game. And the dynamic environment of the game especially the peds.. The way they behave and react to your action is very realistic I hope I also see that in GTAV. That's the game I can only think can compare to GTAV. Well I hope I'm wrong.. Assassin's creed will be EPIC, Watch dogs is entirely different and awesome. Skyrim was king, and uuh... Red dead redemption kicks the ass of every game. And I surely missed a few EPIC games outthere... No GTA V will be epic, but there will be other games which will (eventually) beat GTA V to dust. Even after awhile I didn't even feel like doing missions. Not a lot to do besides blowing stuff up and traversing.
