there are casinos in Los Angeles, right?

Nope, well not traditional casinos (as in slots & table games), there are a few "Card Rooms" which are like Poker & Blackjack and card games only. If you want a real casino you have to go down to the San Diego & Salton Sea area as there are a bunch of full casinos (Tables, Slots, Cards, etc) down there.

Or you could go up to Tahoe Lake. wink.gif

Is this a picture of Michael escaping paparazzi?

That looks like Tracy, Mikey's daughter, although it's always a possibility that may aswell be the celeb mission.

Nope, it's the celebrity Lacy Jones. Look at those guys behind Michael's car, it's the paparazzi since they have a camera and are trying to take a pic of her.l

nightclubs better be on point since R* nailed them in BOGT and MP3

Well Bahama Mamas is returning in V. And most people said that it was the best of the 3 clubs featured in TBOGT

Yeah, I'm one of those people that loved Bahamas Mamas. It was an interior one mission only, though, which sucked. Hopefully we have full access to it this time around. This is Grand Theft Auto V!

Actually It will probably have those Paris Hiltony type of and attention whores, so we can destroy them with our minigun

I just cannot wait to enjoy the high life as Michael living in the rich side of Los Santos. cool.gif He has a cool mansion of with a pool and tennis court -- also some cool views and landscaping. Then he lives next to the Los Santos Country Club and wealthy shops. Nice cars are cruising around everywhere, it's just so nice! It's what I've always wanted in a GTA.

And then we can also experience the rich side of Los Santos from different properties. Look at Franklin's loft!

This just gets me excited. smile.gif While Michael's house is at the foot of the hills and based off older Spanish architecture, this likely purchasable house is set high up in the hills with cool modern architecture. I'm loving the diversity there. I hope there are at least 2 more mansions in the hills. One should be Chateau or Mediterranean and the other should be a bigger modern looking place or maybe a palace... maybe.

Okay, this new GTAForums look is confusing the sh*t out of my tiny ghetto brain... Here goes nothing.

Places like this is what I meant by the 'rich side'. In this image, you can see all sorts of sports cars that you wouldn't normally see in other areas of the game. Places like this would be where you find your well-dressed people (business men / women).

The game reintroduces Strangers, or Random Characters. The kind of Strangers you find here are probably going to be upper-class drama-queens or celebrities. Like the image of Michael transporting a celebrity. I expect events like that to occur around here.

I know that in one mission we will be tailed by paparazzi. I think it would be fun if we saw it by other people also. Say you're nearby a club and all of this paparazzi is standing there and following a car. Would be so epic.

At first I was annoyed by the fact that Michael's mansion in Rockford Hills wasn't as far up the rich-guy food-chain as I originally thought it would be. I thought it would be all the way up the hills on a really windy street, and you'd be able to overlook all of Los Santos from up there. The more I think about it though, the gladder I am that it isn't all that. It's a nice house but it still gives us something to work towards.

yes this is a confirmed mission: i believe from the IGN review where you escort a celebrity woman home and get chase by papz

This thread is pretty much meant to cover what I like to call "the rich side" of Los Santos. How vibrant do you think it will be and what kind of things do you expect to see?

Think in of the 'rich side' as being GTA V's equivalent to the Algonquin area from GTA IV. There s a city part and an area with nicer homes as opposed to the other areas.

I Expect To See

- Grand premiere events

- Casinos (there are casinos in Los Angeles, right?)

- Celebrity tours

- Paparazzi chasing celebrities

- Limousines

- Top-dollar gentleman clubs

- Picnics in parks

- Expensive prostitutes

- Rentable Hotel Rooms

- Malls

- High-end bars & restaurants

- Condos for sale (Mansions for sale in some instances)

- Museums of Fine Art

- Most luxurious cars in the game

Activities I Expect

- Poker

- Blackjack

- Classy Nightclubs

Post more ideas! I will add them icon14.gif

You can take Celebrity tour off your list this image is from here
