winme05
I consider Portal and Portal 2 great games, and of course I'd like to see a sequel, but, as Valve can't count to three, all I can do for now is run the imagination. Here are some concepts of future Aperture Science products, brought to nowadays by my crappy image editing skills. Let me introduce them Cave Johnson-style. Sorry, images weren't working, will have to use URLs. Cave Johnson here. Fact: If you ever get home, and see a pile of bodies on the floor, your turret won't tell you what happened. Solution: the newest Aperture Science innovation - the recording turret! Seen in the picture below, utilizing the stable tri-pod sentry turret stand, and the quality Aperture Science Surveillance Camera. Don't have Aperture brand PC or Core? Doesn't matter, as the spherical body holds storage for weeks of video! It syncs to Aperture Science cores and turrets through ApertConn wireless connection as well. The Camera Turret Ever wanted a concious gun? Tried a turret? If you have, you know - they are heavy, and get disorientated when turned upside down. Here we introduce the hand-turret - a lighter, carryable version designed for being swinged around! Handle is mounted on the backside, invisible in the picture Handturret Ever felt the need of a turret under your table? Or just they don't look stable? No problem! Introducing the Aperture Science Horizontal Turret. Inspired by a defective turret seen in the manufacturing line. Don't worry. We didn't sell that one. Horizontal Turret The Wall-mounted Turret is here! Now you've got something that test subjects won't knock out that easy! Mista J
Okay. Look. We both said a lot of things that you're going to regret. But I think we can put our differences behind us. For science. You monster

winme05
Not bad. Thanks! I'll probably do some more of these when I have time. The first picture seems to be corrupted, but is OK when you view it fullscreen.
jamieleng
I bought Portal 2 over 3 months ago on PS3 (new at a bargain £7) & still haven't gotten around to playing it. Even more shocking, I've never played Half Life 2 either. How about a 'Furret'? It's a cross between a cute ferret & an equally cute Aperture Science Turret. It can slink through tight spaces & even up your trouser leg.

Not a bad idea, but: - "Turret" means it's stationary - I'm way too bad at image editing to do something like this
Chukkles
I love the Portal games. I was/am a little disappointed in P2s story, all that promise of playing with the liquids and that was only in the last third of the game and two thirds are basically the first game over again. I really wanted Portal 2 to venture out into the real world (like Half Life) but I guess I'll just have to run the imagination too. Multiplayer was cool but awkward because other people just tell you how to do it. I have still yet to complete the Free DLC because most don't even know it exists. I think this game really could take a step out of linearity.
winme05
A proof of concept! Future versions will have a smaller core, proportional to the body.
