Like San Andreas, we can expect not just the Ballas and the Families to return, but other gangs will most likely be making a presence within the city as well. I created this thread so that we could list the various gangs and info on them, and chart their turfs on the map as well (once we get it). RETURNING GANGS: - The Families: Gang Colours: Green Type: African-American Street Gang Turf: NA Enemies: Ballas, Los Santos Vagos, Varrios Los Aztecas Franklin, one of the game's main protagonists is associated with the gang. The Grove Street Familes still hold their bitter rivalry with the Ballas gang as they did in the previous game, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. The gang originated from their old Hood Ganton, which will most likely not be the same in GTA V. - The Ballas: Gang Colours: Purple Type: African-American Street Gang Turf: NA Enemies: Families, Los Santos Vagos, Varrios Los Aztecas They appear to maintain their traditional rivalry with the Grove Street Families, as they can be seen fighting enemies in green clothing during Franklin's character trailer. In the Game Informer article, Rockstar Games have stated that the Ballas are still going strong, but when you ride into their territory they don't automatically attack you unless you pull out a weapon or aim at them.However, they will attack the police if they drive through their neighborhood and this can be used to your advantage. One of the protagonists, Franklin, is not in friendly terms with the Ballas as he is part of the Grove Street Families. - The Lost & Damned (West Coast Chapter) Gang Colours: NA Type: Outlaw Motorcycle Club Turf: NA Enemies: The Angels Of Death MC The Lost Motorcycle Club is an outlaw motorcycle club operating primarily out of Acter, Alderney City in the state of Alderney in 2008, and in Los Santos, San Andreas in 2013. The Alderney City chapter President (former Vice President) Johnny Klebitz is the protagonist in The Lost and Damned. They also operate in Blaine County, San Andreas. According to The Lost website, The Lost began in 1964 with eight US marines who met in Hanoi, Vietnam. After the war ended, they had a continued thirst for drugs and violence. Because of this, they started the club and named it 'The Lost' in honour of all their friends who had been killed in the war. POSSIBLE RETURNING GANGS: - Los Santos Vagos - Varrios Los Aztecas - Korean Mob Voice actor Bobo Chang lists a role as a Korean Gangster on his Linkedin Account http://www.linkedin.com/pub/bobo-chang/4/85a/abb (UNCONFIRMED) - Chinese Mafia A character was listed as a Chinese Mobster in the RUSH casting call. Needs to speak Chinese. - Armenian Mob Franklin's boss may be close with Armenian gangsters RUMOURED/UNCONFIRMED GANGS - White Supremacist Prison Gangs - The Angels of Death UNKNOWN GANGS - - Killer Hills (?) Whether they are a part of another gang or a completely new gang is unknown, however they are confirmed to be in Los Santos. --- With V's Los Santos much more larger than the last one we've visited, we can expect much more gangs claiming parts of the city. so far we've only seen the Families and the Ballas. Once we get more information, this list will be expanded, maps of the gang territories will also be created once the game comes out, if I'm missing anything or you want to point something out, let me know and I'll update the info! It's not a mess, its like 85% solid contributions and there have been afew solid arguments i must say but everyones cool now. and the mademans topic covers it well too but to contribute to your thread. some thing that has been said on mine 10023893 times, we need more latino than black gangs to properly represent LA's hoods like 3 or 4 and just 2 black gangs. I'd rather have the A.O.D instead of the Lost, not because their "real life version" is actually there, but because they've established that the Lost were a small fry club, while the A.O.D originated in San Andreas. Also the Lost weren't based on the Pagans... They had like, the backstory of the Warlocks M.C. the Clubhouse of the Hell's Angels and the motto of the Outlaws.
