As many of you know rockstar is planning to release red dead rebellion in the future. But what would you like to see in it, what time period, etc. Lets discuss your wishes for Red Dead Rebellion!

If it's legit then I hope it's set in the golden age of the wild west, that is 1880's-1890's.

Exactly. We need a thriving wild west. Not a dying one.

Who's says it's called Red Dead Rebellion, it's could be called Red Dead Revolution

Survival elements: Growing hair & beard. Eating, drinking & sleeping. Gaining (losing) weight and muscles. Sweating and fainting if the sun is too f*cking hot.

Rewarding exploration: More interesting things to find while traversing the wild frontier, including clothes, horses and weapons. Many caves and mines to discover.

Stealth: I want me some more sneaky actions, sons-of-bitches! I want to catch my bounty, without being caught!

Skills: A classic RPG element that should be in all open world games now. Extends the replay value.

Missions that don't require you to kill anyone: I loved those opening Bonnie missions in Red Dead Redemption. I just loved them. I didn't have to kill no human soul!

Multiple playable characters: Just, please, make all of these characters likeable like John Marston.

Richer map: Most part of the world in Red Dead Redemption is filled with plain desert. Which is, well, a very proper presentation of a wild west. But we have a game here, and a game should be interesting in terms of exploration, all the time. Instead of riding my goddamn horse 10 minutes just to see any goddamn cabin, I'd like to have a smaller map, but filled with more interesting sights.

I'd like to see a red dead set around the 1920's a time period after the first great war.

Red Dead Retarded, I like that! It could be set in the 1930's as a drunk who sets carnivals on fire and collects stamps.

A PC version, I don't give 2 sh*ts about anything else.

Surely would be a huge step up from V then as it most likely would come to next gens only. Huge potential with the new hardware.

Perhaps the spanish civil war?

I don't even... You want it to be set in the Spanish Civil War in the 1930's, despite the franchise being focused on the American West and to date, one family?

The only Japanese cowboys you're gonna see are at the karaoke bar down the street mate.

Or no red dead but an open world pirate game. The new consoles offer the possibility for a huge map with lots of islands where you ship to. Ubisoft doesnt really know how to make ope world games so I would love it

Around 1920s/30s so they can add cars in, along with some more civilised areas. The map should have a lot more towns in there, and towns like Armadillo and Blackwater need to be bigger.

You wouldn't see cars around Armadillo areas but then in places like Blackwater you'd see quite a lively place, with cars and people and stores. Best of both worlds. And there's cars which make it like 20x better.

f*ck that. I though 1911 was already a little too late. I want late 1800's if anything. I also want an older Jack Marston who finally got over his family member's deaths and is back on his feet. The guy was a wreck last time I played with him.

-different title than Red Dead Rebellion

-multiple protagonists

-Civil War setting (Union and Confederate states)

-the ability to use bows and arrows

-more Native American people and culture out in the Territories (e.g., tipis)

-slave trade, oil prospecting, gold mining, and other forms of income besides farming

I know it would be an unpopular move, but after watching a season and a half of the TV show Copper, I'd love to see RDR go to 1860s New York.

That would be the literal opposite of a western. Even if the protag was a Landon Ricketts like gunslinger, I'm sure this move would be detested by the fans, myself included.

Red Dead Revolution would sound more appropriate, though I don't think either of those names will be the final title.

If this does happen (the game), I would hope it starts in the early to mid days of the west. I wouldn't mind some more interactions either, rather than just hauling ass through towns and playing 'poker'. I want to interact with towns people, get drunk at a saloon, have some random dude challenge me to a duel or some sh*t.

Perhaps this could begin Red's life into the Outlaw way.. the story behind the game I mean, not the bar fight.

I know it's hard to believe, but Westerns can actually be set in places other than the west.

Yeah but we're talking Red Dead, it's about the wild west, so let's keep it that way. There is still much to learn about Red..

I like the idea of transitioning from the west as it were, Red Dead's a franchise based Westerns that doesn't have one single protagonist. This gives Rockstar the ability to move it out of the "west" as it were and expanding a little further on the series, I mean there's only so many times you can do a game in the west and have it still be interesting.

I feel it would be a bit of a cop out if Rockstar changed the setting from the Wild West yet retained the franchise name. You also need to consider that the Red Dead series has only revolved around the Marston family as of yet. If Rockstar were to abandon these to elements of the franchise, the might as well go ahead and create a new I.P.

Except the Marston family was first introduced in Redemption. So, Rockstar can abandon their history.

the family, yes.. not Red. Red Dead Revolver involved Marston.

As Ocha said, to abandon what Red Dead is all about would basically mean creating a new IP. Need to stick to what we have right now, if anything, go back alittle further in the timeline, not forward.
