if the directional pad is character switching

I'm pretty sure down or up on the D-pad activates the switching, then you click in the direction of the character while gameplay is slowed down. I could be wrong...

I believe it would be something like this, but not necessarily activated on the D-pad.

IN VEHICLE > L or R on D pad change station

> Down on D pad > character switch menu > then L or R on D pad to select character > X To confirm

ON FOOT > Down on D pad > character switch menu > L or R on D pad to select character > X To confirm

I thought it was a trigger button along with moving the analogue stick to pick a character?

Probably hold a face button/dpad up and use the stick on the opposite side. I think they'll have used up the triggers on other things. If you watch the video you can see that something puts it into slowmo and brings up the wheel before a new guy is selected so it does look very similar to how the weapon wheel works.

Maybe you have to hold a button then use d-pad to character switch? It would make sense since the weapon wheel is the same way....at least if it's the same as RDR controls.

Hold Dpad up+ push right analog radial is my best guess. It also brings up your current cash amount so you can maybe just tap dpad up to keep your cash and stats on the screen for a while.

That sounds like how the weapon wheel will work.

Hold L1 + move stick to whatever weapon then left/right D-pad buttons to change weapon in each section.

For example:

Hold L1 + Stick to 11 o'clock where the grenade is. Press > to switch to Molotov, press < to go back to grenade then press < again to get C4.

then what is going to be used to change radio stations?

There is no radio switching, obviously colgate.gif

Left and Right buttons on the D-pad are used to switch radio stations. Character switching is used by the Down button if I remember correctly.

The down button is for multiplayer tho...

Down on the Dpad activates the Character wheel, and then you use the right analog stick to flick between them

I cant remember the exact source, but it has been explained enough times throughout various previews

(I'm guessing you hold down on Dpad, not just press it)

No it isn't. Down button brings up the wheel, then you can select Multiplayer.

If you press it twice.

I think the same as everyone said. You press the Down button and later you select the character with the D Pad. With this you can change the radio station and move the sight when you are aiming a gun like RDR and MP3

No. You first press down to activate character switching, then you choose down again for MP.

LB = activate weapon wheel, use stick to choose weapon

RB = activate character wheel, use stick to choose character

Maybe somebody could open a Mapping the Controls thread which would show the button configurations for both on foot and in vehicle (on both consoles)

My idea for the D-pad is this:

upMobile phone

leftChange radio station left

rightChange radio station right

downPress once to bring up character switching radial menu; hold to zoom out on map and bring up stats
